I personally know Carleigh from our local gym. She had put up a post about having recently become a travel agent, and when that post came through, I was drowning in planning our 3-week trip to Italy, which included attending a family wedding. So I contacted her, and she was helpful right off the get-go! I had done a lot of research and had a very firm idea of what I wanted the trip to look like going into the planning with her, and she was great at helping fill in the spots I was struggling with. We met in person a few times, had a plan all laid out….then my husband pulled the old switch-a-roo on me, and Carleigh and I needed to literally flip-flop the entire plan. She handled it like a pro and made it all come together! We worked together on finding the perfect rental places for each city we were staying in. She helped me look into transportation options from city to city (we agreed on a car rental for most places and train/taxi for the rest that we handled on our own at the time needed), and she even took over communicating with the hotel we had already reserved for the wedding venue. Carleigh made a summary packet for me, which I am glad I printed and placed into binder to take with us! It had every detail of our timeline, tickets to our tours, car rental agreement, etc! When we finally arrived in Italy, she was reaching out along every step of the journey to make sure things were going well, that we found the rentals okay, and that we didn’t have any problems along the way. I was messaging her with questions at practically every rental (just silly or basic things), and she either helped me get in touch with the owner/coordinator myself or talked to them for me (every place was different). She was always available when I needed her, even with the 6-hour time difference. We made it work! I would NOT have survived the planning of this trip without her, and I’m 1000% sure the trip would not have been nearly as enjoyable if it had not been for all her hard work and dedication to making it so! I will be using her skills in the near future for sure!! Thank you, Carleigh.
