As a South Florida resident, I’ve had the privilege of spending lots of time in Miami. There is much more to the city than its beaches! In this itinerary, I share the lesser-known gems of Miami, including indoor activities for when the sun isn’t shining. From National Parks to Hammams, there really is something for everyone and every mood. These ideas can be mixed and matched for your ideal trip, no matter what the length!

Malibu was one of three stops on my Southern California road trip in March of 2024. While there, my home away from home was Hotel June Malibu. This intimate, 13 room collection of bungalows, was the perfect landing pad after a day full of hiking and shopping. Its prime location, just off of the Pacific Coast Highway, but hidden away from tourists, made it a true respite. What stood out most was the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff, who were eager to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I look forward to returning as well as recreating the experience for my clients.

Visiting Palm Beach Island (yes, it’s an island!) is like stepping into another world. However, it has a lot more to offer than the prep and pomp the name arouses. The best time to visit is during “season” as locals call it, which runs November through March. The weather is warm and sunny, making it a perfect time to run or bike the gorgeous trails and enjoy your meals al fresco. Rhode Island may be the smallest state, but it packs a big punch! The Ocean State is rich in history and natural beauty. It’s the perfect destination for a newbie to road-tripping because you can easily cover the whole state in a couple of days! As a coastally-inclined traveler, I love RI for its plentiful waterfront attractions. It is also home to one of the most special places I’ve ever been, Block Island. For those seeking an authentic New England experience, you cannot go wrong.

You may have heard of Florida’s Panhandle, or even the Emerald Coast, but the secret characters few know about are “30A.” 30A is a scenic county road lined with several small beach communities. What makes this area unique is that there are few hotels and chains, with most real estate being private homes or vacation rentals. The beaches here are known for their pure white tone and sugary-soft texture. Each community along 30A has its own unique personality, making it an especially fun destination. I’ll give you the inside scoop on how to experience this hidden treasure.
