My Travel Style
My favorite thing about traveling is the feeling of freedom and the sense of adventure that comes with discovering a new place. In my experience, those feelings are heightened when you truly immerse yourself in the local culture. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love hitting all the touristy highlights. But what I truly cherish is cultivating unique and authentic experiences, the memories of which will last a lifetime. Traveling is an opportunity to explore not only a new city or country, but to explore ourselves as well. If we allow it to, traveling can teach us so much about ourselves, making us better humans and global citizens.

Briana was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable about where to stay, things to do, and where to go to eat. She went above and beyond making sure we had all of our tour tickets in one spot (even waking up at 3:30AM EST to purchase them for us) and she made sure each accommodation had a special gift for us on arrival. At the start of our honeymoon, she sent a heartfelt note to the hotel which was so kind. She was very communicative and would respond almost immediately with any questions or concerns we had. Superior service! I will definitely be using her again in the future.

I would highly recommend Briana Knox to anyone that needs help with anything travel related (I actually already have). When I reached out to her, I had no idea what to do as far as planing my wife's birthday, and she quickly put together a list of recommendations and guided me through what would best choice for my wife and I. Needless to say, we had an awesome stay in D.C! She even reached out during our stay just to make sure we were happy! She is very professional and she cares! Thank you Briana!

This experience was EVERYTHING! 1,000,000/10!!! Briana is so incredible. I love how thoughtful she is. It’s also so funny to me that the DR wasn’t my first choice and I had so many preconceived notions, and she shattered all of them. I feel like she listened to everything I said and far exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to work with her again. I’ve already told five people about her and the resort. I would do this ten more times. Like seriously couldn’t have been better. I feel like this has been the highlight of my year, and I’m just so thankful for her help.

Briana made our short trip to Tokyo so memorable. Given our limited time, I told her that we wanted to see the highlights without being overwhelmed, and she delivered the perfect itinerary. She carefully took into account our preferences and suggested the best sites, restaurants, and experiences. Her expertise and assistance were so valuable. As first time travelers to Tokyo, we had no idea what to do and did not have the time to research—Briana made the planning process so easy and booked all the restaurants/experiences we wanted. She is a true professional—communications were clear and prompt. I cannot emphasize how much we appreciate her help. We would recommend her services to anyone, and this will not be the last time we work with Briana!

A Local's Guide to Philadelphia: What to Do, See and Eat in Philly from a Local's Perspective
Philly is the city I've called home for the past four years. And as I get ready to leave it behind, it seems only fitting to memorialize some of my favorite things to do in this city, as I am constantly encouraging people to visit.

Visiting Austria in November: Vienna, Salzburg and Hallstatt
I visited Vienna for the second time in November 2024 with my parents and sisters. Vienna is a masterpiece unto itself. It's a beautiful city filled with endless things to explore, and it has somehow seamlessly combined the historic with the modern. I describe it as an intellectual city. It's a haven for lovers of culture, art, architecture, history and philosophy. It is wonderful to visit even in winter, in part because of its proximity to fantastic skiing opportunities, and in part because of how it transforms into a magical Christmas wonderland beginning in November! As a fun fact, I learned it's also the city of spies! Book with me to learn more about that fascinating tidbit.

The Paradisus Playa del Carmen: A Wellness Resort Along Mexico’s Riviera Maya
I’m typically not an all-inclusive resort kind of girl. I like to get out in new cities and explore. But recently I came to a point where I just needed to go somewhere and not think about anything — and a beachfront all-inclusive seemed to meet that criteria. So in late May/early June 2024, my mom and I stayed at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen for a much-needed relaxing long weekend. The resort exceeded my expectations and I can now say that I am definitely an all-inclusive girlie!

Three Days in Barcelona for the Solo Traveler: February Edition
I studied abroad in Spain during college but somehow never managed to visit Barcelona (crazy, right?). I regretted that and always said I would come back to make sure one day I saw the famed city. Well, for my 30th birthday, I finally brought that to fruition: I did a solo trip to Barcelona in February 2023, and it was amazing! I didn’t have a ton of time, but it didn’t matter because Barcelona in the off season is totally doable in three days, even including a day trip!
Here's a recommended itinerary for three days in Barcelona.

Paris in February: A Great Time to Visit
Paris is an incredible city. From the hundreds of awe-inducing museums to the world-renowned gastronomy, to the coveted Parisian way of life, Paris is a city that has completely drawn me in. I’ve been every year for the past three years, and I love it more each time. Most people envision visiting Paris in the spring or summer, but don’t sleep on Paris in February! Being low season, you get the benefit of no crowds, cheaper hotels and surprisingly mild weather. I’m talking in the high 40s, low 50s. The past two times I visited Paris I went in February, and I’m happy to report that February is one of the best times to visit Paris!
