My Travel Style
Former hostel backpacker, now luxury adventurer and everything in-between! I am always looking for the best local experiences that bring authenticity to travel. Mingling with locals, the experts in culture, food, activities, has always provided another dimension to my travel experiences. I plan itineraries around both food and attractions; specializing in vegetarian and vegan friendly guides. I’m all about striking the right balance for the perfect travel experience: combining points and budget-savvy tactics with indulgences when the occasion calls.

As our Fora Advisor, Ashley McFarland provided exceptional service for all of our travel needs on a recent stay on Oahu. We needed various arrangements for a relatively large group (approximately 10 travelers, both friends and family), and Ashley seamlessly organized everything in a relatively short time for this last minute-planned trip. Ashley responded to our inquiry immediately, had a well thought out organizational plan to establish our preferences for hotel accommodations, car rentals, dovetailing these with suggested air travel parameters. Ashley also ensured that our hotel was prepared for our large group, confirming complex room choices for different guests, and double checking with hotel staff that the bookings were accurate. She was never phased by multiple requests or too many questions! As a seasoned traveler herself, Ashley knew of some great local spots and eateries to visit that fit our groups preferences really well. She’s a great communicator, and loved to hear feedback about our experiences as well. We will be looking to Ashley to “solve” our next adventure!
