My Story
Travel-addict. If I am not traveling currently, I am planning the next trip. I come home for my dog. I will hype you up to take the next trip while also giving you recommendations for the best travel credit cards and restaurants.
Travel Style
Luxe adventurer, professional sun-bum, leverager-of-layovers. I mix slow-travel with unique experiences. I can show you how to have the best time at popular destinations with a side of off-the-beaten path. I am always seeking the best local experiences. I love to combine points and credit card rewards with the right indulgences, such as private boat tours. When the opportunity calls, island-hopping is always a yes!

April D'andrea was so great to work with. She took care of everything and responded quickly to all communication. April also responded quickly to our SOS call when our flight was delayed 24 hours on a Saturday night which I greatly appreciated. I look forward to working with April for future travel.

April was absolutely wonderful to work with. My boyfriend and I told her we wanted to go to Mexico, somewhere high-end, luxurious, and with top-shelf liquor options. She recommended Secrets Moxché, a fairly new resort, and it was perfect.
We followed her advice and upgraded to the Preferred Club, which gave us access to premium liquor and the beautiful rooftop pool. She also suggested booking a swim-out suite, and that was such a unique experience. Being able to enjoy our private pool anytime we wanted, especially since the main pools close at 6 PM, was amazing.
The resort itself was stunning, with about 10 different pools spread throughout the property, so it never felt crowded like other resorts. There were also several restaurants to choose from. The French restaurant was our absolute favorite, and it even has a Diamond Award.
They also have a 24-hour Cocoa Café, which was such a nice bonus. They serve amazing sandwiches, coffee, ice cream, and a variety of snacks — perfect for late-night bites after the restaurants close around 11 PM. And if you’re not in the mood for a sit-down dinner every night, they have an outdoor grill with all kinds of meats and vegetables, which was fresh and absolutely delicious.
The only downside was that the mosquitoes were pretty bad, but that was likely just due to the time of year we went.
Overall, we had an incredible trip and highly recommend both Secrets Moxché and working with April. We’ll definitely use her again for future vacations.

April provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities . April was on call and immediately ready to assist when a medical emergency had us needing to cancel a portion of our stay right before departure and then again to extend our stay while we were there. she was able to effortlessly help with accommodations

April had customized a unique itinerary specific to my travel goals. I had a daily list of all my reservations, hotel pick ups, transfers, flights and ferries which made is seamless to visit 4 different destinations in 2 weeks. It really took the stress out of it for me and I can’t thank her enough. My days were completely full with everything I wanted to see and do! 10 out of 10!

Wellness in the Rockies: Why I Love Vail Even Without the Powder
Vail holds a soft, quiet kind of magic even when the snow is light. As a snowboarder, this trip reminded me that travel is also about the freeing feel of the mountain, not just what you do. From sunrise coffees on a mountainside balcony to fire-lit yoga flows and slow-paced spa moments, Vail delivered the kind of soul-deep recharge I always hope my clients find. It’s where the air is crisp, your cheeks get rosy, and life just slows in all the right ways.

How to Do Montauk Like a Local (with Taste)
You don’t need a passport, or even a plane ticket, to feel transported. These luxe weekend getaways are within easy reach and long on style. Long Island summers are iconic, but sometimes you want to escape the escape and get the recharge you didn’t know you needed. As a luxury travel advisor based in New York, I help clients find those rare, relaxing stays where everything just flows: early check-in, great food, a spa robe, and the kind of exhale you can’t get from a staycation.
