My Travel Style
The whole process of traveling, to me is like a work of art or music that brings out some emotion. It gets you excited and opens your mind to the reality that you can actually go and do something or see something that you wouldn’t have wanted otherwise. I know everyone has their go-to spot that they have loved and experienced, or the spot in their mind they want to go to but haven’t been able to pull the trigger yet for whatever reason. I want to be the one to pull the trigger, to cast the line or crack the spine, if you will. I’ve gone many places and done things that I wouldn’t have done if not for that feeling deep in my gut that makes me feel like “this is a good idea, let’s do it”. I know most people have desires, but for whatever reason, finances, PTO, family responsibilities, etc., they can’t make it happen.
I genuinely feel like if you can put the process of travel into the hands of a professional, you can have more of those gut-dropping moments instead of the happy daydreams. In the past I’ve been able to live as a local in Krakow, Poland, to climb a mountain and get stuck in the rain in Zakopane (also Poland). I’ve seen the Taj Mahal with sweat stinging my eyes and I’ve listened to the most wonderful symphony in Vienna in a Palace where Mozart played. I’ve ridden the VSOE Train in Istanbul and met the wonderful people who run the company, along with the wonderful chefs and muscians who elevate the experience into what you’d expect. I’ve gone night swimming in the Mediterranean and picked up rocks with my toes so I could bring them back to my friends. I’ve shed tears for the most delicious sandwich that I accidentally left at the gate in the Brussels airport. I’ve spent the formative years leaving teenagedom to becoming an adult in the heart of Queretaro, Mexico. I’ve crossed the Bridge of Peace in Tiblisi, Georgia while eating some khachapuri and brought home bottles of wine that will never be sold outside that gorgeous country. I’d like to say I’m an experienced traveler, but I don’t feel satiated enough to make that claim. Those are experiences I wouldn’t easily trade, ones that most people might not even realize are a possibility. I want to be the one to inspire and push people to take the plunge… finally. Time will continue to move quickly, and it will leave you behind. Don’t let it.

Osaka Hub Adventure: A 3-Day Packed Itinerary
Traveling in Asia unlocks appreciation and desires you never knew you had or needed while traveling. Osaka is clean, the food is amazing, and the people are so polite and willing to help. Being home to a bullet train allows you to not only relax, but also to be on the go if you choose. Taking a two-hour ride to Hiroshima, or going to Super Nintendo World for the day, can all be done from the hub of Osaka.
