Our Story
I’m Amar, the founder of Bound4Adventure, an adventure and travel brand I officially launched in 2011. But my connection to travel and the outdoors started long before that.
I started taking my children hiking when they were very young. My son Adam was a toddler when I took him on a multiday backpacking trip. Exploring trails together, discovering new places, and learning how to make outdoor adventures work for our growing family became part of our lives. Those experiences helped shape the way I approach travel today: adventure should be accessible, meaningful, and tailored to the people experiencing it.
Over the years, I’ve traveled to 20+ countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America. Some of the destinations where I have particularly strong firsthand experience include Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco, Mexico, the United States, Canada, Germany, and Turkey.
My passion, however, isn’t simply visiting destinations—it’s figuring out how to experience them well.
I enjoy the entire trip-planning process: choosing the right destination, connecting the dots between places, building realistic itineraries, finding memorable experiences, and working through the logistics that can turn a great idea into a great trip.
Through Bound4Adventure, I’ve helped a wide range of travelers, including couples, families, active travelers, first-time adventurers, and travelers who want outdoor experiences without giving up comfort.
Now, as a Fora travel advisor, I’m excited to bring that experience into a new chapter. My goal is simple: to help you create a trip that fits you—not someone else’s idea of the perfect vacation.
Whether you’re dreaming about a hiking adventure, a family trip, exploring a new culture, or combining great outdoor experiences with comfortable accommodations, I’d love to help turn the idea into a thoughtful, well-planned journey.
Travel Style
Adventure with intention.
I believe the best trips aren't necessarily the ones that pack the most activities into the fewest days. They're the ones that strike the right balance between exploration, authentic experiences, comfort, and time to actually enjoy where you are.
I'm drawn to destinations where you can get outside, experience local culture, explore beyond the obvious tourist stops, and come home with stories rather than just photographs.
I'm comfortable planning everything from active outdoor adventures and hiking trips to family vacations and cultural journeys. I enjoy combining active days and outdoor experiences with comfortable accommodations and time to recharge.
The common thread is thoughtful planning. I want the itinerary to make sense for the traveler—their interests, pace, fitness level, travel style, and the kind of experience they want to have.
Having traveled extensively with my own family, I also understand that traveling with children doesn't mean adventure has to stop. Sometimes it just means planning it differently.
The goal is simple: a thoughtfully planned trip that feels like yours.
