My Story
Hi! I’m Amanda—aka The Traveling Trout. What started as a love for exploring turned into an ongoing adventure that has taken me to 10 countries and 38 states (and counting)!
I love experiencing places in every way possible - road trips, backpacking through national parks, cruising the open water, exploring each city’s unique culture, and a little luxurious relaxation along the way. One of my favorite travel projects? Checking off my MLB stadium bucket list with my husband—because exploring a city is better with a hot dog and a home run!
Adventure is calling, and I never hit snooze—come wander boldly with me!

I love mixing adventure and relaxation—one day I’m hiking a national park, the next I’m exploring a city’s culture, or unwinding beachside with no plans.
