For me, traveling is about connecting with people. I love to learn about the best food and local watering holes from the people who live there, as well as make friends with other travelers from around the globe. I love the beach, so beach vacations are always my first choice – or at least a hotel with a pool! Nonetheless, there is something intoxicating about exploring a new city too. I do think travel can be a time for a touch of luxury, so I try to experience a high-end restaurant or hotel whenever I get the chance in a new location.
