My Story
As a former teacher, I learned that great experiences require more than good plans—they need the right support system. I leverage personal relationships with hotel managers and on-the-ground contacts worldwide (through Fora Travel’s network) to pre-communicate your needs, secure VIP perks, and ensure you have local advocacy if issues arise. From our initial planning call through your return home, I treat every client with the personalized attention I gave my students—understanding your unique travel style and coordinating every detail. With 20+ countries explored across four continents, I don’t just plan trips; I create seamless experiences backed by a trusted network of professionals who know you’re my client.
My Travel Style
I'm all about balance—I try to plan one great activity or restaurant reservation per day, then leave the rest open for whatever happens! Some of my best travel memories came from asking locals where THEY eat and what THEY do: the small, family-run winery in Piedmont that our host insisted we visit, that perfect slice of pizza in NYC, the incredible Asian restaurant in Byron Bay we never would've found on our own. And that secret snorkeling beach in Hawaii where we swam with sea turtles? A tip from a local that turned into one of the highlights of the trip! I like to stay put for 2–3 nights minimum—I’d rather stay and explore in one place than rush through five. You'll usually find me at a spa, trying regional wine, or chatting with locals. Museums? Not really my thing. I’m more about immersing myself in the culture, savoring the moment, and leaving room for serendipity!

Incredible! I was upgraded upon arrival, received complimentary breakfast, and walked into my hotel room with a very generous welcome gift and note. After being woken up by two fire alarms in the middle of the night, Allison reached out to the hotel asking for a small compensation. They ended up discounting my night stay by 50%, all because Allison reached out!!! Highly recommend working with Fora and Allison.

Thank you, Allison Schmitz, for finding this wonderful hotel Auberge St Antoine in Old Quebec. Allison worked with the hotel, and we received a room upgrade, $120 food credit, and complimentary breakfast. She planned our day trip outside Old Quebec with rental car that worked out great, and also bike and food tours all around Old Quebec that were perfect. In November 2022, I spent five nights of my honeymoon at Likuliku Lagoon Resort in Fiji and have been dreaming about the clear, beautiful water, impeccable service and attention to every single detail ever since! From the second you arrive via boat transfer or helicopter, you are met with a smile and a ‘bula,’ which I quickly learned was the equivalent of a Hawai'ian “aloha.’ I hope to return to Likuliku, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing vacation!
