My Story
Designer. East meets west kind of guy who speaks more than three languages. Enjoys attention to detail, creature comforts, thoughtful meals, authenticity and natural scents.
My Travel Style
I travel seeking inspiration in the authentic details of a culture and place. Catch me at Dante NYC sipping a hot toddy in the wintertime or surfing in Bali. You won't find me in a hotel with white lights. A good day ends with a great meal, a sunset and/or a spa treatment. Authenticity is luxury.

Designer Curated Surf Trip: Bali
Bali is a one-of-a-kind destination that features world-class waves alongside world-class luxury in a laid-back atmosphere rich in culture. Whether you're cruising on a longboard, ripping waves on a twin-fish or just beginning to surf on a foamy, there is a wave for you in Bali. An island roughly eight-times the size of Singapore, there are a variety of different landscapes in Bali for which to call home base for your next paddle-out. The main surfing areas of Bali are Medewi, Uluwatu, Canggu, Kuta and Balian, with a few lesser-known surf spots in between. Although Bali has experienced heavy tourism traffic over recent years, this guide will help you avoid the crowds in style.

Local's Guide to the Best Hotels & Experiences in Bali
Bali has been one of my home islands since my first internship there at the Green School in Bali in 2010. As a sustainable designer, Bali is an island that inspires me always, even from afar. After living in Bali full-time for three years, I can confidently say that if there's an experience you're after, you can find it in Bali. An island rich in contrasts rooted in an animistic culture where art and spirituality blend together, as the smells and tastes of the island tantalize your senses, Bali is a great place to explore with enough to do to keep you there for up to two months or more. I recommend spending at least one week if possible and planning your trip according to the key regions of Bali as each has distinctive geographies and cultural offerings. These areas are the main tourist areas of Canggu, Uluwatu and Ubud; from which meaningful day or overnight trips can be taken further away from the tourist centres. Bali is an island that has my heart, and I hope it touches yours too.
