My Story
I spent 17 years in healthcare IT untangling complicated systems for large organizations. That's a strange background for a travel advisor until you see what I actually do: I plan the trips nobody else wants to touch. The 30-person family reunion where everyone has a different budget. The women's retreat with 400 unread messages in the group chat. The milestone sailing that has to work for a grandmother and a toddler in the same week.
I got into this the way most people do—by doing it for free. I'm currently coordinating a multigenerational family reunion cruise and a retreat for a group of ten women, and somewhere between the supplier who didn't return my call and the fourth version of the rooming list, I realized the frustration I was absorbing was exactly the thing I could take off someone else's plate.
So here’scruises the job as I see it: you tell me who’s coming and what matters to them, and I handle the rest—the holds, the deadlines, the cabin categories, the cousin who books late every single time. You get a trip that feels effortless. I keep the spreadsheet.

Organized on the back end so it feels effortless on the front end. I plan for groups, which means I plan for the things people forget until it’s too late—connecting cabins, dietary needs, the family member who needs a slower morning, the friend who wants the excursion nobody else does. I lean towards warm-weather sailings, all-inclusives that actually deliver, and itineraries with enough structure to feel handled and enough space to breathe.
