My Story
A bookworm from New England who is way too into theatre, Disney and coffee. Most often found at a museum, in the audience of a performance, eating nachos or watching a Mets game.
My Travel Style
I love a solo city adventure with a book in my bag and good food and drink on the table! Also a big fan of girls’ trips with activities for everyone. Or maybe a whirlwind Disney World vacation! It really depends on what mood I’m in when payday hits.

I came to Alex with a very specific and hard to manage list—traveling with a toddler and a large dog is not easy to wrangle! But Alex not only found a hotel that met our needs, it exceeded them. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew what amenities were in the neighborhood and even priced out parking so we knew we were getting the best deal. I would absolutely have Alex plan a trip for us again!

Alex was responsive, and helpful. Letting her deal with all our arrangements was the first relaxing thing we did all vacation!

Trip Report: Hotel Indigo in Florence, Italy
In July of 2024, I kicked off 10 days in Italy with a stay at the new Hotel Indigo in Florence. The location, style, price point and hospitality of this hotel made this the best hotel of my trip. This is a wonderful choice for people who don't want to break the bank but want access to everything this beautiful city has to offer.

3 Days on Key West
Key West is a tiny and beautiful island with a huge heart and a rich history - not to mention some amazing cuisine. Famously the southernmost point of the United States, there is really something for everyone to do when you spend time there. Wherever you go, you'll feel a huge sense of community among the locals who have chosen "island life" and you'll never get tired of seeing and hearing that bright blue Gulf of Mexico.

Washington D.C. Museums
Washington, D.C. is one of the most culturally diverse areas in the country, and its museums are no different. Whether you're interested in art, architecture, history, technology or even espionage, you'll find a museum that caters to you in America's capitol. While the Smithsonian Museums (mostly surrounding the National Mall) are terrific, if you want something a little different, check out these suggestions.
