We loved our hotel in Paris, all the extra touches and follow up that you had made it very stress free. I’m a vivid traveler and hadn’t found a travel agent I could trust (not even for my honeymoon, I tried 3 and they all failed) so I’m very happy to have found you! I’m constantly on the go for my job so I value when someone makes my life easier with personal items. The hotel was totally our vibe, modern, comfortable and in a great location. The photoshoot was great as well, only part that could have improved is I had asked for a location with a garden, but when we got there the garden was closed so it was all just a city photoshoot. It seemed like the photographer hadn’t confirmed that the garden would be open by the time we arrived, but other than that it was great!

I will be reaching out for future travel and of course be recommending you to my friends!

I am so grateful to have found Layah Travel & Alexandra Hepworth by complete coincidence on Instagram a few months prior to our honeymoon. Alexandra & her team have been fantastic to work with!

This was our second time in Japan but to have experienced it fully curated and with personal touches was incredible! The itinerary was spread out nicely and all the logistics were thought through. The team sent us multiple options for accommodations and this was probably the toughest choice we had to make - they all looked amazing! But the hotels that we did end up choosing were fabulous - locations were perfect and hospitality was next level.

The restaurants picked for us were also pretty epic. Alexandra and her team were attentive to our needs and actually listened - this was evident in the suggestions & recommendations shared with us for things to do, places to see and where to eat.

One final comment: our absolute favourite part - having a dedicated private driver/vehicle to take us around, especially in Tokyo! It made everything feel elevated and stress-free. This may not be huge to others but it was a big deal for us!

We loved our trip to Japan - I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was better than I had imagined.

We worked with Alexandra over the past year to bring this trip to life. The approach was collaborative with a lot of thought behind how everything was put together, from the overall flow of the trip to the hotels we stayed at. Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi was a real highlight for us as was Four Seasons Kyoto, coming in a close second.

We really appreciated being able to experience such a different culture while still feeling comfortable throughout. It felt like a nice balance of learning, exploring and enjoying.

The food was a big part of the trip for us. Alexandra went above and beyond to get us a highly coveted spot at a unique omakase pizza restaurant. It was definitely a trip highlight. She also made sure we had dinners and lunches booked every day at the perfect restaurants, at the exact locations that made sense for the day’s plan. It is not easy to make or change any reservations in Japan so all of these details ended up being very much appreciated.

I was anxious about navigating transportation when all of the street signs and signs in the train station are in Japanse but Alexandra booked us with an amazing team on the ground who set it all up seamlessly and comfortably.

During our time in Kyoto, we experienced an afternoon with the Geisha, something that really allowed us to learn about and see a different side of Japanese culture. The sumo competition in Osaka was a lot of fun to watch!

We also loved the shopping - Daikanyama was an absolute highlight, along with the vintage shopping and high end boutiques for Japanese denim. The quintessential Japanese creativity and perfectionism on display at shops like the 12 story Itoya in Ginza devoted only to paper and stationery was a must see.

We came home saying "it was awesome" Thank you for everything!

The trip was absolutely amazing, thank you so much for helping us plan our honeymoon. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. We’re so grateful for all your help and especially your patience throughout the process!
