I stayed at Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués in Acapulco in October 2019 and booked during the resort’s off season, which gave me a very different perspective on the property than a peak-season visit might. What impressed me most was the sense of privacy. The resort felt quiet, spacious, and deeply removed from the pace of everyday life, which made it especially well suited for travelers looking to truly disconnect. Set high above the Pacific, the property has a dramatic cliffside setting that immediately creates a sense of arrival, and the views alone are a major part of the experience.

The spa was one of the highlights of my stay and a major reason I would recommend this property, particularly for wellness-minded travelers. I spent nearly every day there, including a full Banyan Day experience, and found the service to be thoughtful, intuitive, and highly personalized. If someone is looking for a stay centered around spa time, privacy, beautiful scenery, and a slower rhythm, this resort delivers that exceptionally well.

During my trip, I paired time at the resort with off-property exploring, including a local food experience and cooking class. That balance made the stay feel richer and more personal.
