Black Walnut (Callicoon): Located inside a beautifully restored historic former 19th-century Delaware Hotel, Black Walnut offers a warm, intimate dining experience. The seasonal menu highlights local ingredients and thoughtful preparations, making it one of the most memorable dinner spots in the Western Catskills.
Seminary Hill (Callicoon): Set on the grounds of a working cidery, Seminary Hill pairs sweeping hillside views with refined, seasonal cooking. It’s an ideal place to linger over a thoughtful meal while sampling their estate ciders, especially at sunset when the surrounding landscape glows.

The Laundrette (Narrowsburg): A local favorite for its laid-back atmosphere and creative comfort food, The Laundrette serves everything from wood-fired pizzas to seasonal small plates. In warmer months, the riverside garden is one of the best places in town to enjoy a relaxed dinner and sunset over the river eddy. If you happen to be there on a Thursday, expect to get roped into their weekly trivia for some extra fun.
The Junction (Roscoe): Part restaurant, part bar, The Junction is a lively gathering place known for great burgers, craft beer and cocktails, and live music. A fun, casual stop after a day exploring the Catskills.
Kaatskeller (Livingston Manor): Set in a rustic barn-like space, Kaatskeller offers wood-fired pizzas, seasonal dishes, and a well-curated drink list. The large outdoor patio makes it an especially great spot on summer evenings.

Tusten Cup (Narrowsburg): This cozy café is a beloved local gathering spot, known for excellent coffee, breakfast sandwiches and fresh pastries, as well as adorable local merchandise. It’s the perfect place to start a slow morning before heading out to explore.
The Walk In (Livingston Manor): The spot for a proper breakfast sandwich. A popular stop for both locals and weekend visitors.
The Speckled Hen (Youngsville): You’ll feel like a local dining at The Speckled Hen. No frills, just classically good, hearty breakfasts.
Breweries
Upward Brewing Company (Livingston Manor): Located on a scenic property just outside town, Upward Brewing pairs craft beer with an “Après-ski” vibe. Visitors can even hike the short trail on the property before settling in for a pint.
Catskill Brewery (Livingston Manor): One of the region’s most well-known breweries, Catskill Brewery produces a wide range of approachable craft beers. The unpretentious taproom and outdoor lawn make it an easy place to spend a relaxed afternoon. Enjoy the local food trucks, live music, and a variety of games on hand.
Big Eddy Brewing Company (Narrowsburg): Located right on Main Street, Big Eddy Brewing offers small-batch craft beers in a lively, welcoming taproom in the former bank building (you can even sip your pint in the old vault!). It’s a fun stop after a day on the river or exploring town, and the brewery frequently hosts live music and local events.
Roscoe Beer Company (Roscoe): Located in the heart of the trout-fishing capital of the Catskills, Roscoe Beer Company is known for creative craft brews and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
