Things to do in Oahu

Byodo-in Temple
Located at the foot of the Ko’olau Mountains is a hidden Japanese temple that provides a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. You can walk through their serene gardens and enjoy the view of hundreds of Koi fish swimming throughout the pond.
Snorkeling day trip
Hawai'i is one of the best places in the world to go snorkeling. The crystal clear waters and abundant wildlife ensure that you are able to enjoy incredible views. You will want to carve out a whole day to experience all that the reefs and sea creatures have to offer!
Manoa Falls Trail
A 1.5-mile hike with scenic views leads to a breathtaking view of Manoa Falls. The trail opens at the base of the waterfall where you can capture the best photos of the falls and rainforest.
Kamananui Cacao Orchards
Experience the journey of cacao, from the tree all the way to a chocolate bar. The orchards offer an immersive tour where you can appreciate the beauty of the land and the craft of producing the product we all know and love: chocolate!
Sunset boat ride
The only thing better than a Hawaiian sunset is experiencing it on a luxurious evening cruise. It's a perfect thing to do on your last evening on the island. You can enjoy drinks and views all while reminiscing about your favorite moments on Oahu.
Places to eat & drink in Oahu

North Shore Shrimp Truck
This is my favorite shrimp truck on the island—and trust me, I tried a lot of them! There are also several other food trucks nearby offering a variety of options.
Zigu Izakaya
This izakaya offers traditional Japanese style cuisine with a local Hawaiian flare. If you are staying in Waikiki and in the mood for a sashimi plate, seared wagyu, or soba, Zigu is for you!
Matsumoto Shave Ice
Matsumoto is legendary for its unique flavors and generous serving size. You can find anything from papaya to cucumber to guava on their menu. It’s also in a great location on the North Shore, so you can shop after enjoying your dessert!
Pai Honolulu
Pai offers a thoughtful culinary experience, combining locally sourced ingredients with artfully sophisticated presentation. If you enjoy watching the "artful creation" happen in real time, the counter seats offer a front-row view of the kitchen's precision. They also curate personalized experiences for special celebrations and offer private dining options.
Leonard’s Bakery
This famous bakery is known for their malasadas and pastries. They are served fresh, warm, and not too sweet! They have become so well known tourists often form a line outside—but I promise they are worth the wait!
Need to know
There is so much to explore on Oahu, and some scenic views require a vehicle to access. I would highly recommend adding a rental car to your reservation!
