Curator’s statement
Berlin is a city of contrasts—where history and creativity meet in unexpected ways. I’ve lived and traveled here as both a nomad and a visitor, and what I love most is the freedom to create your own rhythm. This itinerary blends iconic landmarks with Berlin’s underground culture, offering a taste of the city’s art, food, and nightlife. It’s designed for travelers who want both the must-sees and the hidden gems.

Day 1: Acclimate & move

Brandenburg Gate at sunset
If you’ve just flown over the Atlantic and are feeling jet-lagged, my advice is to keep moving and aim for an early dinner. Stay up as late as you can to reset your body clock, then let yourself sleep in a little the next day.
For your first day, take a walking or biking tour through Berlin’s historic core. Highlights include Alexanderplatz and the TV Tower, Museum Island, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial, and Tiergarten with its Victory Column. The pace is flexible: you can linger at museums or do a quicker overview. In the evening, relax with a casual dinner and, if you have energy, stop by a Berlin listening bar for curated cocktails and music.
Day 2: Berlin culture

Katz Orange: The restaurant and bar combine sustainability and gastronomy, out of a love of good food and fine wine, but above all, out of respect for life and humanity
Spend the morning thrifting in Kreuzberg, where secondhand boutiques mix high-end fashion with quirky finds. In the afternoon, head out on the water—locals love Berlin’s lakes, and a boat ride is a perfect way to experience the city’s natural side. For dinner, book a table at Katz Orange, a stylish spot with a seasonal, farm-to-table menu. Afterward, experience Dark Matter, an immersive light and sound installation, before ending your night at one of Berlin’s iconic clubs.
Day 3: Something for everyone

Sunday at Vabali Spa
Ease into your Sunday with brunch in Prenzlauer Berg, a neighborhood full of cafés and leafy streets. From there, choose your own adventure: dance all day at an open-air party like Sisyphos or Kater Blau, or opt for relaxation at Vabali Spa, with its Balinese-style gardens and saunas. If you prefer something slower, rent bikes and ride along Berlin’s canals or through Tiergarten. This is the day to follow your vibe—Berlin is equally famous for its recovery rituals and legendary Sunday parties.
Need to know
Berlin rewards curiosity. Explore side streets, pop-up galleries, and neighborhood cafés—often the best finds aren’t on a map. Public transit is excellent, but biking is often the fastest way to get around. If clubbing is on your list, arrive with patience and keep your group small for the best chance of entry. Most importantly, Berlin invites you to explore at your own pace—whether that means chasing the nightlife, diving into history, or simply soaking up the city’s creative energy.
