Day 2: Explore Riyadh’s heritage

Immerse yourself in Riyadh’s rich heritage by starting your day at Al Masmak Fortress. This historic mud-brick citadel tells the story of Saudi Arabia’s unification and is a must-see for history enthusiasts. Next, stroll through Justice Square and explore the vibrant traditional markets of Souq al-Zel and Souq Bisht—perfect for finding unique souvenirs and experiencing local life.
After a hearty lunch at Najd Village Restaurant, continue to the Murabba Palace and the National Museum of Saudi Arabia to delve deeper into the Kingdom’s fascinating past. Then, discover the modern contrast at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), where futuristic architecture meets cultural elegance.
Wrap up your cultural exploration at Ad Diriyah, a beautifully restored UNESCO World Heritage site that was once the heart of the first Saudi state. Explore its narrow alleys, learn about ancient mud-brick architecture, and capture stunning photos.
Wear comfortable shoes and lightweight clothing, as you’ll be walking through historic areas. Finish your day with a coffee break at KAFD to soak up the lively atmosphere.
Day 3: Edge of the World

Edge of the World Riyadh
Save some time for a natural adventure and head to Jebel Fihrayn, famously known as the Edge of the World. This dramatic escarpment offers sweeping views over the vast desert plains from its 300-meter-high cliffs—an awe-inspiring sight that feels like standing on the edge of the earth.
In the late afternoon carve out some time to catch the mesmerizing sunset. Pack comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen, as the rocky terrain and sun can be challenging. Enjoy freshly brewed Arabic coffee, tea, and light snacks while taking in the serene atmosphere.
This day offers a unique contrast to the city’s urban vibe, in the raw Saudi desert.
