Curator’s statement
Qatar is special to me because it is not only home but also a place filled with so much beauty and richness. From its stunning hotels and world-class service to the deep culture and traditions that shape daily life, it truly offers an unforgettable experience. I feel proud of how much the country has to offer, from its modern luxuries to its cultural treasures. For me, Qatar is more than where I live—it is a truly beautiful place that I hold close to my heart. Everyone I know who has visited never wants to leave.

Day 1: Msheireb & downtown Doha

The traditional Souq Waqif
In the morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel—no doubt the breakfast variety will be amazing! Visit Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) and explore stunning architecture and a world-class collection of Islamic art. Walk along the MIA Corniche, enjoying views of the stunning Doha skyline.
In the afternoon, head to Souq Waqif to explore the traditional markets, shop for spices, perfumes, textiles, and souvenirs. You really get the feeling of being in a beautiful Middle Eastern-cultured country. Enjoy lunch at one of the authentic Qatari restaurants in the souq. From the souq head to downtown Msheireb—from the old, suddenly you are transported by one escalator into the new, modern, built-up area of Msheireb.
Whether you’re interested in architecture, culture, or simply enjoying a leisurely day out, Msheireb and downtown Doha offers a vibrant and sustainable environment that reflects the dynamic spirit of Qatar. After a lovely day, head over to get the best pizza in Qatar—that will be CRUST. Super casual with a simple menu, the pizza is made with sourdough bread and you can’t quite beat it.
Day 2: Desert adventure

The beautiful Sealine Desert
In the morning, visit The Pearl in Qatar—stroll along the marina, admire luxury yachts, and enjoy a café breakfast, I recommend Harvest Café.
In the afternoon, go on a desert safari in the Qatari dunes—choose from either dune bashing, or connect with a humane and ethically maintained provider for a camel ride experience. Stop for photos at the Inland Sea (Khor Al Adaid), a breathtaking natural reserve.
In the evening, return to Doha for dinner at a luxury hotel (like W Doha for the best sushi at The Market), or Mandarin Oriental to their IZU Restaurant for fantastic food.
Day 3: Final day

Explore Katara Cultural Village—with its galleries, theaters, and traditional Qatari architecture, and plenty of different options for cafes! Make sure you take a dhow cruise along Doha Bay while you’re there.
Enjoy lunch at a waterside restaurant, and in the evening you can end the trip back at Souq Waqif for any last-minute shopping, coffee, or shisha.
Optional: Enjoy live music or a cultural performance at the souq!
Need to know
From the moment you arrive at Hamad International Airport (voted one of the best airports in the world) you will feel so happy to be in Qatar and so excited to explore the beautiful, classy country.
