Things to do in Los Cabos

Cabo Adventures camel ride
My favorite moments in Los Cabos were sitting on the beach, watching the waves crash against the shore—the mix of the ocean’s beauty and its raw power was truly unforgettable. The beaches were stunning, and the views from our hotel, complete with a private pool and incredible service, made the experience even more special.
I loved the whale-watching tour, where we sped across the water, saw dolphins, and took in breathtaking views of El Arco.
From a lively hip-hop party boat with a DJ and open bar to a fun-filled bar crawl—especially a night at Club Crush—the nightlife was full of energy, great music, and amazing people.
We also rode camels along the beach, enjoyed authentic Mexican food and a tequila tasting, explored local markets filled with artisan goods, and had unforgettable meals at Nobu and Ardea, making every part of the trip feel rich with culture, flavor, and connection.
Places to eat & drink in Los Cabos

Lobster enchiladas at Pacific Restaurant
My favorite place to eat in Los Cabos was Nobu Restaurant, a Michelin-rated spot known for its fusion of modern Asian cuisine. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the service was top-tier, making it a standout dining experience.
Another favorite was Ardea Steakhouse, where the cowboy ribeye was served on a hot stone grill and cooked perfectly to a medium, just how I like it; the lamb-stuffed ravioli and drinks were just as impressive.
I also loved dining at Pacific Restaurant, which offered a modern take on Mexican cuisine—I especially enjoyed the lobster enchiladas, along with the octopus and guacamole, all while taking in ocean views by the pool.
Beyond the resort, exploring local street food in the city gave me a chance to experience authentic Mexican cuisine, adding even more flavor and culture to an already unforgettable trip.
Need to know
The airport is about 45 to 50 minutes from Cabo San Lucas, so it’s best to arrange transportation ahead of time rather than waiting until arrival. Getting around often requires taxis, especially when traveling from hotels into the city or to local markets, so planning for that cost is important since rides are typically paid in cash. It’s also a good idea to bring both USD and Mexican pesos, as cash is widely preferred by taxi drivers and for smaller transactions.
If you’re planning any boat tours or cruises, make sure you confirm the exact marina and docking location in advance—many leave from the main marina area, and there can be multiple docks, which can get confusing. Lastly, be prepared for small additional fees at the marina for boat access or docking, which are usually paid in cash when boarding your excursion.
