Things to do in London

London at night
Shakespeare’s Globe: While the original Shakespeare’s Globe burned down, the replica of it is in the same location and is amazing. They put on historically accurate plays year round, although the plays during the winter months are in their indoor theater.
Kensington Gardens: Walking around Kensington Gardens in the Spring felt like a fever dream! The grounds are impeccably kept and make for a great walk with beautiful views.
Sky Garden: This is a completely free attraction in London that just requires you to make a reservation time slot in advance. The Sky Garden offers incredible views over the city and is filled to the brim with amazing plants. It’s a great place to enjoy a city view and relax midday.
London boat tour: Enjoy views of London from the Thymes. You get to pass by iconic buildings and go under the London Bridge. Well worth it to do and gives your legs a break from walking.
The London Eye: This is an obvious one, but for a good reason, it’s incredible! I love any chance I can get to see a city from high above, so I absolutely loved the London Eye. I went at night to be able to see the views of the city in the dark and it was incredible.
Places to eat & drink in London

Fish and Chips at Founder's Arms Pub
Darwin Brassierie: If you want to extend your Sky Garden views of London, then definitely book a reservation to Darwin Brassierie during your stay. The food and drinks were fantastic and it has the best view in the city.
The Grapes: For any Lord of the Rings fans out there, The Grapes is a local pub owned by Sir Ian McKellan, and it features the staff of Gandolph behind the bar. It’s a bit out of the way from the center of London but worth the trip if you’re a big fan of the series.
Nando’s: While this chain restaurant is becoming more popular in the US, if you haven’t tried it, you have to go to Nando’s while you’re in London! They have locations everywhere and honestly the food is just that good. Perfect for a quick bite after a long-haul flight over the Atlantic.
Founder’s Arms Pub: This pub offers the classic pub fare and is right on the river near Shakespeare’s Globe. It’s the perfect pub to grab a bite and a pint before going to see a play.
Need to know
London can be an intimidating destination to plan for because there is just so much to do at all times. Whether you like walking around and exploring new neighborhoods (I recommend Shoreditch, Camden, and Little Venice), or checking tourist attractions off your bucket list (Big Ben, The London Eye, Kensington Palace), you can fill your whole itinerary with ease.
