Curator’s statement
Valle de Guadalupe holds a special place in my heart because it’s where Mexico’s rich culture and relaxed pace blend seamlessly with exquisite wines. It’s the perfect weekend escape, allowing me to savor the essence of Mexico without the hassle of flying from Los Angeles. Every visit feels like a warm embrace of everything I love about the country’s charm and flavors. Just 70 miles from the Mexican/Californian border lies over 150 vineyards, countless restaurants, gourmet food trucks and endless outdoor activities.

Things to do in Valle de Guadalupe
A great Valle de Guadalupe winery to check out is Vena Cava. The unique feature of this winery is that the tasting room is set in a “cave” under recycled boats, with a big lounge area outside if sipping vino al fresco is your preference. You might meet the owner on any given day, which personalizes the experience.
A visit to one of Valle’s oldest wineries merits a visit by you and your girls, so have Monte Xanic on your wine tasting list. This stunning facility is amazing to look at while the wines are some of the best in Valle. The tasting bar is the perfect place to enjoy their sophisticated reds and whites, or on the patio overlooking the lake if the weather is nice and cool.
A must-see is Lechuza Vineyard! It should be on your wine tasting list because you and your girls will love the chill and laid-back ambiance. The vineyard sort of feels like you are drinking fine wine in someone’s posh backyard, giving you that comfy feel. The casual vibes perfectly sum up Valle’s overall casual atmosphere. It’s good to note that Lechuza’s wines are so good that they’re on famous Napa restaurant The French Laundry’s wine list.
Las Nubes winery, which means clouds because it sits on a hillside, providing the feeling of floating in the sky. You’ll love looking out across the magnificent valley and seeing the vast landscape — a stunning setting for a perfect picture with the girls. Their classic tasting is a great way to sample their delicious wines. Don't forget to order some tapas to complement your tasting.
Bruma, a perfect choice for a girls' trip to a vineyard. This eco-luxury sanctuary is more than just a winery— it’s a place where nature and sustainability are deeply intertwined. Since its inception in 2015, Bruma has been a beloved destination for those who appreciate exceptional wines and the beauty of the natural world. You and your friends can savor exquisite wines while exploring the extraordinary native-plant garden on the roof. The visual centerpiece is a majestic 300-year-old oak tree, standing proudly in the middle of Barrel Hall. This ancient marvel is the perfect backdrop for a memorable girls group photo, capturing the essence of Bruma's enchanting allure.
Adobe Guadalupe is an ideal choice for an unforgettable girls' trip, offering a beautiful vineyard, a charming Hacienda-style inn and Azteca horse breeding. Adobe Guadalupe is the largest breeder of Azteca horses in the world, featuring a stable with 26 horses that guests can experience. Beyond the stunning winery, the estate includes a quaint hotel, a formal five-course dining experience and a year-round food truck.
