Day 1: Arrival

Wine and chocolate tasting at the clock tower
Arrive in time for check-in, and have lunch at Cedric's Tavern. Try the trout and sweet tea, or the daily special. Make reservations for a wine and chocolate tasting at Antler Hill for a truly amazing treat for the taste buds. You can travel around by shuttles, and they are always easy to find throughout the massive estate. Have dinner at the Bistro—the filet will melt in your mouth. Most of the food is farm to table, and it really shows! Everything is fresh and looks like a work of art on the plate. Have a drink or tea at the Library Lounge and enjoy the large fireplace and the piano playing in the background, or sit on the terrace for a magical view.
Day 2: Biltmore House & conservatory

The Dining Room at the Biltmore Inn
Get a pastry at the Bake Shop near the Biltmore House. Purchase your tickets in advance and arrive early to avoid long lines. Tour the house slowly and listen to the extra commentary. It will amaze you with its beauty! Make reservations at the Stable Café, which is actually a stable that was converted into a restaurant. The salads are so fresh, and the shrimp and grits are to die for!
Next, head to the conservatory for the most beautiful flowers you will ever see. Be prepared to walk, but it is worth each step. Sit on the benches scattered throughout and people watch, or shop in the stores nearby. There is a free wine tasting in one of the shops, and a candy store that has the absolute best chocolates I've ever tasted. Treat yourself to dinner at The Dining Room (there is a dress code). Try the sea bass for a real treat. Pair it with a white wine from the winery there, and don't skip dessert tonight.
Day 3: Spa day

The spa at the Inn at Biltmore
Today is spa day, and it is not to be missed. The Inn at Biltmore has a luxurious spa. Opt for the signature facial, or a couples' massage. Spend time in the beautiful waiting area as you sip on tea with a heated neck pillow and weighted blanket. Get a late brunch at Tupelo Honey before returning your rental car and flying home.
Need to know
This estate is large, but the shuttle system works like a charm. Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you plan on hiking the many trails that surround the estate. I wouldn't miss the sunflower garden or the boathouse hike that ends with a beautiful waterfall. This is a relaxing and leisurely weekend, so do what makes you happy. (PS: Don't skip the spa.)
