Curator’s statement
For me, Paris truly felt like a movie. From the architecture to the café-lined streets, everything is effortlessly beautiful. The food is fresh and unforgettable, the weather (if you’re lucky) makes every walk feel even more surreal, and history is everywhere you turn. Getting around is easy with a metro pass, making it quick, affordable, and convenient to explore. Just be prepared—there are hills, stairs, and lots of walking, but it’s all part of the experience. It’s a city that doesn’t just meet expectations—it exceeds them.

Day 1: First impressions & Montmartre evenings

Moulin Rouge: Paris’ iconic cabaret
Start your trip right: Paris walking tour
Explore Paris with a walking tour for an interactive introduction to the city. It’s a great way to settle in while learning about the history and culture from a local guide. Many tours include stops to try fresh croissants and other pastries in the morning, which makes the experience even better.
Afternoon lunch at Le Fumoir
For lunch, enjoy a roast pork (porchetta-style cut) meal—it's bursting with flavor! The restaurant also has a timeless feel, with friendly staff.
Montmartre after dark: Art, history & views
In the evening, head to Montmartre for a guided walking tour through one of Paris’ most charming and creative neighbourhoods. Montmartre was once home to famous artists like Pablo Picasso. You’ll also pass by the Dalida statue, a tribute to the iconic singer who lived in the area—some say you can touch it for good luck. Finally, don’t miss the Moulin Rouge, one of the most famous theaters in the world.
Day 2: Historic sights & Paris by night

Arc de Triomphe
Stained glass & Old Paris: Sainte-Chapelle
Start your morning at Sainte-Chapelle, known for its breathtaking stained glass windows filling the space with colorful lights. Located on Île de la Cité, this area sits in the heart of Paris, surrounded by the Seine, and is home to some of the city’s oldest landmarks.
A Paris moment: Arc de Triomphe & Champs-Élysées
In the afternoon, visit the Arc de Triomphe and walk along the Champs-Élysées. Seeing the arc in person is an unforgettable moment—you don’t fully realize how grand it is until you’re standing right in front of it. Climb to the top, browse the shops, or simply take in the atmosphere.
Paris at night: Seine river cruise
End your night with a boat cruise along the Seine. Go after 10 p.m. so you can catch the Eiffel Tower sparkling at night—it lights up every hour and is one of the most memorable views in the city.
Day 3: A royal escape to Palace of Versailles

Versailles: Hall of Mirrors & royal gardens
Spend the day at Palace of Versailles, just outside of Paris. It’s a full-day experience, not just because of the distance but also because of how much there is to see. Walk through the famous Hall of Mirrors, explore the grand rooms, and take your time in the gardens—photos truly don’t do them justice. You can even rent a golf cart to get around the massive grounds more easily.
Dinner plans: Le Chat Noir
Back in the city, enjoy dinner at Le Chat Noir for a lively atmosphere and great food—try the delicious lamb shank! It’s a nice way to wind down after a full day of exploring.
Day 4: Iconic Paris & Eiffel Tower views

Eiffel Tower (2024)
The main event: The Louvre & Mona Lisa
Start your morning at the Louvre Museum to beat the crowds. See the famous Mona Lisa—and yes, it really is more beautiful in person. Then, take time to explore other sections, including the royal jewelery exhibits (the Greece section is especially impressive).
A quiet break: Luxembourg Gardens
Afterwards, take a peaceful walk through the Luxembourg Gardens. It’s a quiet break from the busy city, with picturesque gardens, fountains, and plenty of space to relax.
Up close & personal: Eiffel Tower
For the best photo spot, head to Trocadéro Gardens for that perfect straight-on view of the Eiffel Tower in the background. Then walk over and see the Eiffel Tower up close. If you have time, go up to the top for panoramic views of the entire city—just make sure to schedule a time slot in advance.
Day 5: Cafés, shopping & final Paris moments

Slow Parisian morning: Café start
Start your final day with a classic café breakfast—fresh croissants (I’m sure you’ve had many by now!), coffee, and people-watching. It’s one of the best ways to really take in the city.
Shop & stroll: Le Marais
Spend the day exploring Le Marais, known for its boutiques, vintage shops, and local charm. It’s perfect for picking up souvenirs or just wandering through some of the most interesting streets in Paris.
One last look: Seine evening walk
End your trip with a walk along the Seine, taking in the city one last time. The lights, the architecture, and the atmosphere make it the perfect closing moment to your time in Paris.
Need to know
Stay aware of pickpockets, especially in busy areas and on public transport. Keep your belongings close and avoid keeping valuables in easy-to-reach pockets.
