When traveling to St. Lucia, keep in mind that driving is on the left and the mountainous roads are best navigated via private transfers or a 4x4 vehicle.
While U.S. dollars are widely accepted, carrying local Eastern Caribbean Dollars (XCD) is essential for smaller vendors, as digital payment apps like Venmo do not function on the island.
