Curator’s statement
Monaco is where luxury, charm, and style all come together. I’m always blown away by how alive and glamorous it feels. Walking along the marina next to those stunning yachts is honestly breathtaking, and the people-watching is next level—everyone looks like they just stepped off a runway. Whether I’m having dinner with a view at La Môme Monte Carlo or soaking up the sun at Nikki Beach by the Fairmont, everything feels effortlessly chic. Plus, it’s super easy to take quick day trips to places like Èze or Nice, which just adds to the magic. It’s the kind of place that lets me relax but still leaves me feeling totally inspired!

Things to do in Monaco

If you’re feeling lucky, visit the iconic Monte Carlo Casino. The interior of the building in itself is so stunning to be in and experience.
Poolside service at Nikki Beach is a must if you’re looking for a youthful, fun, day time atmosphere. Order bottle service with caviar for the full luxury experience. It’s perched atop the Fairmont Hotel with stunning views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. Views you’ll never get sick of.
Catch a sunset from the Jardin Exotique de Monaco. You’ll need to catch the number 2 bus from the Harbor, which stops right outside the gardens. The views of the cliff and harbor are magical.
I love wandering through the little streets of Monaco’s Old Town. It feels like stepping into a postcard. It’s calm, colorful, and has such a cool mix of history and charm. Plus, the view from the top by the Prince’s Palace is worth the walk!
Sass Café is always a must for me. The food’s amazing, but what I really love is how it totally transforms after midnight. It turns into this fun, stylish party. It’s one of those spots where you just know you’re going to have a good time!
The Casino Square is a must when in Monaco. I could honestly sit at Café de Paris all day just watching the scene. Between the Ferraris, fashion, and pure Monaco energy, it’s entertainment on its own. Always something happening, and the people-watching is very entertaining.
I always recommend booking a yacht for the day, even just for a few hours. There’s something so special about seeing Monaco from the water. Whether it’s a private charter or a shared one, cruising along the Côte d’Azur with a glass of rosé and a few swim stops is honestly one of my favorite ways to spend the day.
One of the best things to do in Monaco is to wander around the Carré d’Or area. Every corner has something pretty to look at, whether it’s a cute café, designer boutique, or just the gorgeous architecture. You don’t even need a plan, just go with it!
Places to eat & drink in Monaco

La Môme Monte-Carlo is a chic rooftop restaurant perched atop the Port Palace Hotel, offering breathtaking views of Port Hercule and the Mediterranean Sea. Great for a sunset dinner! I ordered the crispy octopus alla Luciana, Langouste Grillée (fresh grilled spiny lobster) with Linguine Gamberoni. Best dish on the menu! Ended with á partager: baked cookie.
Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo is such a vibe. It’s this super-luxe lounge and restaurant inside what used to be a concert hall, right near the Monte Carlo Casino. The food is Asian fusion, and I went for a little tapas-style spread: Thai red shrimp, Wagyu ribeye, mashed potatoes, and a side salad. Then I finished it off with a warm chocolate fondant and vanilla ice cream, so good. The energy picks up as the night goes on, the music gets louder, and the place turns into a full-on party. You can chill on the patio with a hookah or head inside and dance it out while the DJ takes over.
Sass Café in Monaco is such a classic spot. It’s dinner, live music, and a full-on party all in one. The crowd is super glam, and after midnight it totally transforms into a nightclub. That’s when it really comes to life. It’s definitely a hot spot in Monaco’s nightlife scene, so booking a reservation ahead of time is a must. For dinner, some of my faves were the veal piccata (so good), the spicy penne arrabbiata, and the truffle risotto. Can’t go wrong with any of them.
La Spiaggetta dei Balzi Rossi: A little secret spot I love just past Monaco. Tucked right on the Italian border, this beach club feels like your own private slice of the Riviera. Crystal-clear water, a peaceful vibe, and amazing food right on the rocks. It’s the kind of place you go for a long lunch and end up staying all afternoon. It’s not a far drive from town, and very much so worth visiting. It’s off the beaten path so you would never know it’s even there. I had to circle around a few times until I found it behind a big hill, which took a little walking, but it was well worth it! The ceviche on the menu was delicious, and we spent most of the afternoon enjoying a crisp bottle of rosé and enjoying the views of the beach.
If you are looking for a lunch place with views, I would recommend Caffè Milano: Italian dining with a stunning view. It’s right on Port Hercule. It’s a stylish yet relaxed spot perfect for soaking in Monaco’s yacht-lined views. The menu features fresh Italian classics, from handmade pasta to seafood risotto, and the vibe is effortlessly chic!
