Things to do in Chicago

The Bean at Millennium Park
Navy Pier: We love to go to the Navy Pier for incredible views of the city, a variety of food options, different shops, and multiple ride attractions. Riding the Ferris wheel is always a must-do!
The Bean: We love walking down Michigan Avenue to Millennium Park to check out the iconic cloud gate sculpture (known as The Bean). We take several family photos and also a moment to learn a little about the history of Millennium Park with their founders memorial nearby.
CAMP Chicago: This is a great place to take the kids as they offer a variety of different activities, including the PAW Patrol adventure, Bluey meet and greets, slime making, and even an arts and crafts section.
Willis Tower: Experience spectacular views spanning up to four states and 50 miles from the top of Willis Tower. You can also check out the ledge experience and the Chicago Museum while there.
Places to eat & drink in Chicago

Vodka pizza at Dimmi Dimmi
Portillo’s: This is a must-try in the city for an iconic Chicago-style hot dog. Don’t skip the crinkle french fries.
Kasama: Always our first stop when going to Chicago for their Longanisa, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and their ube and huckleberry basque cake.
Maple and Ash: This place is on the pricier side, but the food has always lived up to the hype! Make sure to get a personalized menu while you are there for a special occasion (or even just celebrating your welcome to Chicago) as this is complimentary but must be noted during the reservation process.
Mr. Beef: Straight out of the TV show The Bear! Make sure you get the sandwich dipped.
Pequod’s Pizza: This is my favorite Chicago-style deep-dish pizza.
Art Smith’s Reunion: This restaurant is located in the Navy Pier and offers delicious food, including their honey butter biscuits, which are a must-try.
Trivoli Tavern: This restaurant is top-notch! Everything on the menu is delicious, including their sticky date cake that will keep you coming back time and again.
Dimmi Dimmi: Located on a corner in Chicago’s Lincoln Park area, this restaurant has a cozy neighborhood atmosphere with exceptional service and elevated Italian-American comfort food. Their tavern-style pizza, mozzarella sticks, and tiramisu are must-orders.
Need to know
Depending on the time of year that you go, it is advisable to bring layers of clothing as the weather can change from 70 degrees and sunny to 40 degrees and extremely windy.
Ensure you also bring comfortable shoes to walk around the city, as many attractions are within walkable distance.
Utilize their train system when necessary as parking for many places is usually metered street or valet.
