Things to do in Port

Stockholm, Sweden

Bruges, Belgium

Take a guided canal boat tour throughout the city! You will learn about the history of the city while being surrounded by swans and stunning landscapes. You can purchase tickets in advance or at the time of booking. After your boat ride, head on over to Vlaminck for lunch for a pot of mussels and a tall glass of Zot beer! If you are craving something sweet, I highly recommend House of Waffles just a short walk away! They have a fabulous selection of sweet and savory waffles.

Stockholm, Sweden

Check into Hotel At Six, after you are settled, head on down to their cocktail bar for a glass of wine before exploring the city. Enjoy strolling around the city down to Stortoget Square, where you will find colorful buildings, endless shopping and fabulous restaurants. Not far from there you there is the perfect dinner spot, Restaurant Tradition. Order the traditional Swedish meatballs and you are in for a treat! After dinner, enjoy a long walk among the Soderstorm River.

London, United Kingdom

Sightseeing, starting at Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, & Westminster Abbey! After a long stroll around London, it's time for High Tea at Fortnum & Mason! You will feel like a royal while dining here. The tea is the only brand they will serve at Buckingham Palace!

Places to eat & drink in Port

La Remmonee

Paris, France

  • La Renommee — The owners also own 4 Charles in New York City. Need I say more? Order the cheeseburger, strip steak, with a side of their roasted potatoes with creme fraiche and a bottle of Bordeaux.

  • La Became A Gaston — Tucked away in a quieter area of Paris, you will find this hidden gem! Order their traditional French onion soup & spicy tomato sauce rigatoni.

  • Milagro — This Michelin star restaurant deserves all the praise it gets! The wine list is absolutely fabulous and the duck was to die for. The service is excellent and you might even get to meet the owner and her tiny white dog!

Tallin, Estonia

  • Peppersack Restaurant — Straight in the middle of the old town, you will find this restaurant that makes you feel like you are in the Middle Ages! This cozy spot serves great comfort food such as beef stew in a bread bowl, cheesy potatoes and of course, local beer.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

  • The Pantry — A traditional Dutch restaurant with great prices! They offer five different pre-fixe menus that include a starter, entree and dessert! The hutsput combination was excellent and it was perfect for a rainy day in Amsterdam.

  • Vanholland — You can't leave Amsterdam without trying the Stroopwaffle! Head on over to Vanholland, they have several different kids with M&Ms, Nutella and much more. I always go with the classic.

Need to know

When booking a cruise, please keep in mind that you will only be visiting the destination for a day at most. Planning is extremely important and always try to pre-book your tickets and restaurant reservations in order to be able to maximize your time! It is a great way to sample so many different cultures and countries combined with a relaxing experience on board. It is the perfect way to travel for any kind of personality.
