Panama City Beach is special to me because it was the first beach vacation my children and I experienced together. We stayed at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort, and its beachfront location, cleanliness, and family-friendly atmosphere made the trip unforgettable. The resort was within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and ice cream spots, making everything convenient and relaxing. The memories we made together are ones I will always treasure.

Day 1: Beach day
The perfect start to our Panama City Beach getaway⎯our first family photo on the beach as the kids experienced the ocean for the very first time.
Our first day in Panama City Beach was spent settling into the resort, exploring the property, and enjoying the beautiful beach just steps from our room. We took time to relax, walk along the shoreline, and familiarize ourselves with the resort's amenities so we could make the most of our stay. The laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect start to our vacation.
A note from Shannon
Bring a wagon for transporting luggage, beach gear, and groceries from your car to your room, as it makes the arrival process much easier and saves multiple trips.
Day 2: Exploring Panama City
Day two brought plenty of excitement as we traded beach towels for go-karts and enjoyed some friendly family competition.
Day two is all about exploring more of what Panama City Beach has to offer beyond the shoreline. We spent part of the day enjoying the beach before heading out for some family-friendly fun, including go-kart racing and a round of mini golf. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, giving us a chance to experience both the natural beauty and the entertainment options in the area.

Be sure to bring and reapply the appropriate SPF sunscreen throughout the day ⎯the Florida sun is much stronger than many visitors expect.
Day 3: Dolphin tour
Brady found a sea creature.
Day three was one of the highlights of our trip as we set out on a dolphin tour and snorkeling adventure. The crystal-clear water, beautiful scenery, and variety of sea life made for an unforgettable experience, and we were fortunate enough to spot dolphins during our excursion. The kids especially loved seeing marine creatures up close while exploring the water.

While dolphin sightings are common, they are never guaranteed, so go for the overall experience and enjoy the adventure no matter what you see.
