My Story
I’m an award-winning travel planner and natural/cultural historian with over 30 years of experience. I’ve created everything from day trips to multi-week trips in the Americas, Antarctica, Ireland, and Scandinavia. Some of the trips I’ve planned have included educational topics such as geology explorations, small-ship beer and spirits cruises, garden tours, day hikes, kayaking, river float trips, and historic programs from local tribes and expert authors. When my clients find themselves speechless in the face of glaciers or sighting sea turtles in crystal clear snorkeling sites followed by wine tasting and phenomenal local culture, I’ve done my job! With a strong sense of wonder and curiosity, I explore and offer regions, cultures, and landscapes that light up my imagination. My travel style is casual with refined comfort. Think hiking shoes and massage tables meeting ambient lighting and elegant wine glasses. I’ll walk, hike, sail, or cycle through open spaces and historic places all day with the expectation of smile-evoking meals and cozy-but-refined surroundings to end the day.
