Curious travel and food explorer. Occasional thrill-seeker. Loves maps and mapping out journeys.
My Travel Style
From roughing it in a tent while exploring New Zealand solo to unwinding at an onsen (hot spring) with a group of friends at a luxurious ryokan in Japan, I seek a variety of travel experiences that open my eyes to different cultures and help me appreciate this incredibly diverse world. I've learned to not cram a multitude of activities and destinations into one trip. Instead, the best experiences have come by immersing myself in regional culture, discovering hidden gems while on leisurely walks and getting food recommendations from locals. So much to having a great trip comes with the right mindset and planning appropriately. I can help you do that.

She recommended that we stay in La Spezia to explore Cinque Terre, our destination. I'm so glad we followed her suggestion. She recommended this place because of its proximity, convenience, and the many restaurant options. She was great about arranging transportation for us to our next city in a timely manner, even with the time difference between the US and Italy. I highly recommend her as an amazing and trustworthy advisor. I would hire her again!

We can’t say enough good things about our amazing travel advisor, Stacie! From start to finish, she was absolutely phenomenal. Her recommendations and travel tips were spot-on, her communication was superb, and her insight was truly invaluable. Honestly, our trip wouldn’t have been nearly as smooth or enjoyable without her guidance.
She helped craft an itinerary that perfectly balanced everything we wanted to see and do. The fact that it was all available in a handy app—with our flight details, lodging info, maps with pins, train and museum tickets, and even our scheduled attractions—was a total game-changer. It made navigating each day so easy.
Even when we ran into a few hiccups while traveling in a completely different time zone, she was quick to step in and help resolve things—always making us feel supported and cared for. Having her expertise behind us was truly life-changing, and we’re beyond grateful for everything she did to make our trip unforgettable!

Stacie was so helpful when planning this trip. My sister and I both have tattoos and were, therefore, looking for a private bathing experience. The way she broke down each option on the spreadsheet made it easy to choose which place we wanted to stay. Even though she hadn’t previously had clients stay at Arima Onsen Taketoritei Maruyama, she researched the facilities and made sure we had the best time! She was so great to work with!

Stacie was helpful in arranging our reservations and arranged to extend our stay at the last minute. She provided instructions and map of locations, transportation where we wanted to go. Would definitely use her services on our next travel destination.

Overlooked Japan: Gunma Prefecture
For those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, head northwest to crane-shaped Gunma Prefecture – a wonderland of onsen towns, scenic landscapes, outdoor activities and authentic local charm. While often viewed as a destination for day trips or weekend getaways by Japanese and foreign visitors alike, Gunma is packed with sites and activities for an extended stay, as well. Believe me. I lived there for four years and only made a moderate dent at best.
