My Story

Travel is personal to me—profoundly personal. My husband, Josué, proposed to me in Spain. We said our vows in Puerto Rico. We’ve spent nine days drifting across the Caribbean on a cruise ship, drinks in hand, with nowhere to be. That’s the kind of travel I help people create.

I’m Rachel, a bilingual (English/Spanish) travel advisor based in the U.S., and a part-time agent with Fora because planning trips for the people I love is something I’ve always done for free—and honestly, I’m still doing it for the love of it.

I specialize in Caribbean getaways, Spain and European itineraries, Disney and Universal parks, domestic U.S. travel, and cruises. I’m deeply familiar with Disney World from years of living in Miami and planning more park trips than I can count—but I’ve done Disneyland, too. I know the Caribbean islands the way most people know their own neighborhoods.

What makes me different? I plan the whole thing. Flights, hotels, Airbnbs, restaurant reservations, day-by-day itineraries—and yes, what to pack and wear each day so you can do it all in a carry-on and a backpack. Because that’s how Josué and I travel, and it’s a game-changer.

Tell me where you want to go. I’ll handle the rest.

Travel Style

My travel style is researched, but spontaneous—I do the homework so you don’t have to, but I always leave room for the meal you stumble into, the neighborhood you weren’t supposed to love, the detour that becomes the whole story.

I’m a planner by nature (and profession), which means I actually enjoy the part most people dread: the spreadsheets, the reservation windows, the “what do we do on day three?” But on the ground? I want to feel like a local. Unhurried. Present. Not racing between attractions with a paper itinerary.

My husband and I travel almost exclusively with a carry-on and a backpack. Not because we’re minimalists—because we’ve learned that the lighter you pack, the freer you feel. I plan outfits by day, so packing is effortless, and that’s something I do for my clients too.

I love a good hotel bar, a market that smells like something frying, a long dinner that turns into a longer conversation. I’ve planned trips around a single restaurant reservation. I believe the best itinerary has one truly great thing per day—not ten good ones.

I’m bilingual, Latina, and I travel with a lot of heart. The places that mean the most to me—Spain, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean—aren’t just destinations I recommend. They’re places that are part of my story.
