I am passionate about finding new places and experiences. I want to find a small café where the locals eat and explore the foods they are enjoying. I love immersive travel that focuses on good food and drink. I also love to find ways to travel on a budget without feeling like I’m on a budget.

Overnight Getaway in Downtown Fort Worth
Downtown Fort Worth is worth your consideration if you are looking for an overnight or weekend getaway. Sundance Square is an awesome neighborhood with so many gorgeous boutique hotels, phenomenal dining options, fantastic nightlife, and interesting and unique shops to frequent. Whatever you are looking for, downtown Fort Worth has it. If you don’t find it at Sundance Square, head on over to the Stockyards and spend some time over there. I have season tickets to Broadway at the Bass and enjoy coming to this area every time I come into town for a show. I hope you’ll join me!

Cruising the UK on the Scarlet Lady by Virgin Voyages
This cruise was special for two reasons. The first was I traveled with my best friend and was able to introduce her to one of my favorite cruise lines, Virgin Voyages, and one of my favorite ships, the Scarlet Lady. The second was I was able to visit some of the areas my ancestors lived, including a chance to visit the clan seat of the Lachlan Clan, which is part of my ancestry.
