My Story
User researcher by day, travel designer by night—I’m an expert at asking all the right questions and then creating experiences that surprise and delight.
Travel Style
My dream travel day is planned around food, spent immersed in cultural experiences or soaking up awe-inspiring scenery, and capped off with a glass of local wine or spirits. Ahead of touching down in a new destination, you can bet I’ve got every corner of the area mapped out—from off-the-beaten-path eateries to tour schedules and top-notch accommodations. I’ve explored 38 countries and 44 US states, and am equally as happy donning my hiking boots or jumping on a zipline as I am wandering around a quaint local neighborhood or admiring art in a world-famous museum. The thrill of a new place, a new adventure, a new experience remains, and that feeling really can’t be beat.

Our entire trip was well planned and we came to indulge ourselves with beautiful experiences immersing us into the life of the places we visited. I have nothing but gratitude to Laurel, our travel advisor. We were able to experience Chiang Mai, Bangkok, and Koh Yao Yai in just nine days. Laurel fit in many meaningful experiences, including a cooking class, an ethical elephant visit, time at the floating markets, and a boat trip to Hong Island. Everything felt easy and well organized, and we never felt rushed.

Laurel did a great job, listening to our preferences and creating an itinerary that met the needs and interest of both of us. She was very receptive to feedback when we wanted to change something or add something. She was very responsive and was great to work with. She created a honeymoon for us in Japan, and will never forget!

Without a doubt this was the honeymoon of our dreams. We have not stopped talking about it since getting home and have been gushing to everyone we know, singing Laurel’s praises.
Some of the things that stood out most were the amazing tours—literally every single one we went on had a guide who was so knowledgeable and informative—as well as the hotel experiences and little touches, which meant so much to us. Bad Ragaz LITERALLY changed my life and will forever be my favorite part of the whole trip.
From the food and reservations being completely top-notch to the carefully selected planning throughout, it was not lost on us how much time and effort went into making everything absolute perfection from start to finish.
Seriously though, thank you again, Laurel, for making this possible and for being so helpful throughout this whole experience!

We loved every minute of our trip! Things we loved and would absolutely do again: Spago! So fun, beautiful, and delicious. Perfect for a birthday dinner! We even met Wolfgang Puck! The chill itinerary The resort! Gorgeous and everyone was so nice! They also had great mele kalikimaka with music everywhere and decor. The pools! We were at the adult pool everyday. It was exactly what we were looking for! We did scope out the other pools as well and were impressed! Being so close to the beach and the mall! We loved getting to walk the property, walk on the beach, walk to the mall and walk around. We enjoyed the car service that hotel had! They were nice and always so quick! The luau was so cool! We probably don't need another do for awhile but this one rocks! We loved having it on property. It was so well done--logistics and show. The Humble Market Kitchin restaurant on property was amazing! They were the daily breakfast buffet and it was always so good! We also did their happy hour one day, perfect snack and drinks when you're planning a later dinner. We also did their Christmas Eve buffet and omg--so good!

Laurel was excellent in helping us plan the trip and also always available to help during the trip. She was very flexible with multiple last minute changes, even an unplanned pregnancy. Many thanks to Fora and Laurel!
