My Story
I started my career as a journalist in New York and Pennsylvania before moving to Botswana and starting a family. In Southern Africa, I reported on politics, art, and culture before exploring the ins and outs of the safari industry as editor of a travel magazine. When I returned to America, I pivoted to a wine and food career, leading to extensive travels throughout Southern Africa, South America, Europe, and the United States.
Travel Style
I am an expert solo traveler with a knack for crafting itineraries to uncommon locations. I specialize in fine art, farms and forests, safaris, road trips, wine tours, botanical gardens, educational tours, and business travel.

Road-Tripping Through South-Central France
Lozere, in the agricultural heart of central France, is truly off the beaten path. Outside of wine country, it is the least populated, most rural area of France. Its rich history is still alive amidst ancient ruins, historic hot springs, and cobblestone streets. From Claremont-Ferrand to Mende, the hilly expanse of central France offers a vastly different journey than Paris, Bordeaux, or the sun-drenched southern coast, yet it is easily accessible to all three!

Flowers in Focus: A Botanical Tour of Portland
The mild weather in the Pacific Northwest makes Portland and the surrounding Willamette Valley ideal for growing everything. For most of the year, the area is blessed with floral abundance of all kinds. Check it out!

Lausanne: An Olympic Journey of Swiss Art, Wine & Wellness
Lausanne is a beautiful city on Lake Geneva, home to the Olympic Museum, and a wealth of food, art, and culture. Capital of the Vaud Canton, heritage vineyards dot the surrounding hillsides. Explore the city then travel east along the lake through Montreux to Zermatt. We visited in summer during the Festival de la Cite, a free, annual music festival hosted at outdoor stages throughout the city. This year it takes place June 30-July 5.
