Travel Style
I learned to travel from my airline mom—always with a sense of adventure but never without doing my homework first. My travel style is what I call ‘smart luxury.’ I’ll hunt down that incredible hole-in-the-wall ramen shop in Tokyo and secure reservations at the city’s most coveted omakase, often on the same day. Food drives a lot of my personal travel choices. I’ve eaten at over 350 Michelin-starred restaurants across 41 countries, but I get equally excited about discovering an amazing street cart or family-run local spot. I gravitate toward experiences that feel bespoke rather than cookie-cutter, the kind you can’t replicate by following a guidebook. After 25 years as a healthcare executive, I bring serious research skills to travel planning, always digging deep to uncover those places that make people ask ‘how did you find that?’ My husband and I keep returning to Asia, particularly Japan and Southeast Asia, but every destination teaches me something new about balancing the must-sees with the hidden gems that become the real memories.

Kevin was extraordinarily helpful, and took over all of the stressful footwork and planning so that we were able to just enjoy our trip.

Kevin was great! I reached out to him semi-last minute to find a hotel close by where I'd be working during a business trip to Manhattan and he came back quickly with a list of several options (enough to choose from but not too overwhelming). All the hotels were in my price range, centrally located, and he even wrote me a short blurb on each one explaining the general vibe of the place and what kind of amenities I could expect. I looked over all the info and had my hotel booked in minutes, as opposed to the usual hour or two I might spend doing my own research. The check-in process was smooth and easy, the hotel was perfect for my trip, and I was able to get through the whole process with no stress. Thanks again, Kevin!

Kevin Davidson is an incredible travel advisor. His attention to detail is beyond words. Kevin booked our stay at the Palazzo and continued to monitor the price, and rebooked for us when it was less than the original. He did this several times. I have never worked with a travel advisor like Kevin. He even checked in on how our stay was while he was on his own vacation in another country. I now use Kevin for all of my vacations and am comfident that I am getting the best quality and best prices.

We had such a great experience working with Kevin. He provided us with multiple hotel options to choose from and thoughtfully outlined the pros and cons of each one, which made the decision process so much easier and stress-free.
He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, quick to respond, and always happy to do additional research whenever we had questions or wanted to explore more possibilities. We never felt rushed or pressured.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience working with Kevin. I'm an experienced Japan traveler and he asked several questions to help get me to the perfect property. I definitely wouldn't have selected this property without his guidance. I didn't realize all the benefits of working with a Travel Advisor like Kevin. Not only did he get me early check-in and late check-out, but he also monitored my booking price and I received money back after the initial booking because the rate dropped.
