My Story
Healthcare exec turned travel curator. 350+ Michelin stars, 41 countries. Smart luxury meets authentic adventure—especially in Asia.
My Travel Style
I learned to travel from my airline mom—always with a sense of adventure but never without doing my homework first. My travel style is what I call ‘smart luxury.’ I’ll hunt down that incredible hole-in-the-wall ramen shop in Tokyo and secure reservations at the city’s most coveted omakase, often on the same day. Food drives a lot of my personal travel choices. I’ve eaten at over 350 Michelin-starred restaurants across 41 countries, but I get equally excited about discovering an amazing street cart or family-run local spot. I gravitate toward experiences that feel bespoke rather than cookie-cutter, the kind you can’t replicate by following a guidebook. After 25 years as a healthcare executive, I bring serious research skills to travel planning, always digging deep to uncover those places that make people ask ‘how did you find that?’ My husband and I keep returning to Asia, particularly Japan and Southeast Asia, but every destination teaches me something new about balancing the must-sees with the hidden gems that become the real memories.

Kevin was very helpful in helping me find an ideal location at the right price point. He went above and beyond on short notice to find a comfortable spot that I would have never found if it weren’t for his keen eye.

Uncovering O'ahu: Hidden Gems & Local Spots
Yes, O'ahu is home to Honolulu and Waikiki, but Greater Honolulu represents just a fraction of what this island offers. Drive 30 minutes in any direction from the airport, and you’ll discover why locals call this place home while tourists flock elsewhere. My husband grew up on O'ahu, and this is the Hawai’i of his childhood. It is a place deserving of a little more time and easy to add on to your other island travels. Hopefully you’ll find a little more to discover, as we have, compared to the typical Waikiki beach experience so many pass through.

Bangkok's Fine Dining Revolution: Why the World's Top Chefs Are Calling It THE City to Eat In
The numbers tell part of the story: Bangkok now boasts Thailand’s first-ever three-Michelin-star restaurant, more one-star establishments than ever before, and reservation systems that crash from international demand. But the real story lives in the kitchens themselves, where a new generation of Thai and international chefs is doing something unprecedented: taking the techniques and ingredients that have defined their cuisine for centuries and presenting them at a level of refinement that has the global culinary establishment taking serious notice.
