My Story
Travel has been a constant thread in my life since childhood. Because my mother immigrated from Sweden, I grew up spending summers returning there to be with her family, learning early on that the world is both vast and deeply connected. Those experiences shaped a lifelong commitment to exploring new countries, immersing myself in different cultures, and meeting people whose lives and perspectives are unlike my own. For me, travel isn’t just about seeing new places—it’s about widening the lens through which I see the world, and, in the process, better understanding myself.
Travel Style
I believe all travel has value, and my own style reflects a balance between curiosity and care. When I travel, I like to see and do as much as I can—seeking out the must-see places that define a destination—while also leaving space to slow down, recharge, and simply be present. I’m drawn not only to the highlights, but also to places that don’t always make the list: a quiet neighborhood, an unexpected café, a conversation that unfolds by chance. For me, the most meaningful trips blend intention with openness, creating experiences that are both enriching and deeply memorable.

Karin was awesome! She was knowledgeable about the hotel, very responsive and within minutes was able to book an excellent room for much better price compared to available online prices. I plan to use Karin for all my future travel plans!
