Karen was amazingly helpful. Start to finish, she listened to our plans and our goals and our budget and came back with a master plan that we tweaked back-and-forth for a short time and came out with the final plan that was truly remarkable. We were moving four people from hotel to hotel by car rentals, by rideshare’s, by trains all over two countries and she managed to pack everything we needed into our trip of three weeks. Karen is an amazing planner and will work through all the details with you, everything you need in a travel agent, she is highly motivated, extremely intelligent and very professional, also, great with follow-through! We thoroughly enjoying working with Karen and she will be the first one we contact for our future travels.

Our booking experience with Karen Kandelman was absolutely exceptional. She helped us plan our two-week honeymoon in Japan, covering four beautiful cities—Tokyo, Kaga, Kyoto, and Lake Kawaguchiko—before returning to Tokyo. From booking hotels to coordinating our travel between cities, everything was seamless and stress-free. Karen took the time to understand what kind of accommodations and neighborhoods we were interested in, and she truly went above and beyond to tailor the experience to our preferences. Every place we stayed in was perfect, and the logistics were handled so smoothly that all we had to do was enjoy our trip. We’re incredibly grateful for her help in making our honeymoon so memorable—thank you, Karen!

Andorra: An Underrated Ski Destination
Soldeu is merely 2.5 hours away from Barcelona. It is a mere two minute walk to the Gondola that takes you up to all the skiing domains. You can rent your skis and leave them in lockers and simply walk to your spa or apres-ski. It is a very local destination with mostly French and Spanish visitors. It boasts the Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa, which has a very contemporary design, beautiful spa and all with the best views of the slopes.

Relaxing Long-Weekend at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel
In April 2024, I went on a girls' trip with my best friends to Vermont, where we stayed at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel. The hotel feels very cozy and caters to its guests throughout the four seasons. It is dog-friendly, which is great while exploring the beautiful nature. Manchester, Vermont is a great nature escape, which also boasts a quiet luxury.

Local's guide to East London
I have been living in London for eight years and I have heard from Londoners and travelers alike that they have never been to East London. There is always something happening in Hackney, Shoreditch and Islington (technically this is North London). It is often compared to Brooklyn due to the fact that it has some industrial and modern architecture as a result of rebuilding after WWII and the people are down-to-earth and cool. It is my favorite part of the city and feels like a different city altogether. It All the establishments are independent, where you will some of the best food in London.
