I wanted to plan a vacation on Vancouver Island to celebrate our 70th and 75th birthdays. The problem: I did not want to do the planning for it, I didn't know where to start and I was procrastinating doing it.

That's when Julianne Robicheau of Fora Travel came into the picture. She had great travel suggestions which were tailored to our desire to do some hiking as well as relax, not booking a full day of events.

The only place I wanted to visit was Tofino and stay at the Wickaninnish Inn. With this info, Julianne suggested flying into Victoria, staying a few days, driving to Tofino for a stay and then driving to the Comox area. Spend one last night back in Victoria and fly out the next day for a total of 10 days. Julianne found and booked the best hotels for us, handled the airfare, rental car, and insurance.

Julianne researched the restaurants in the area, sent me a list of which I chose the ones for her to pre-book. She sent an update on the trails in each area that might be to our liking, pre-booked massages, and other events we wanted to do.

She took all the stress of booking a holiday away from me, and made it a dream vacation. I had complete trust in her. She was always available to answer any questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using her on "your" next trip, as I will be definitely requiring her services again in the near future.

She was professional, knowledgeable and super helpful, she was quick to help and made phone calls on our behalf to either help sort things out or gather additional information. She was patient and responsive, always making herself available when I had questions. I love to travel but don’t enjoy the research process so having Julianne help with the planning made it stress-free on my end. She found us a great deal for an all inclusive that fit our budget, helped organize transportation in Mexico and a lovely stay at an airport hotel. For a type A planner who enjoys the research process, I just didn’t have the time but with her skills we were even able to save money and she found some extra special perks for us along the way.
