For the past 25 years, I’ve blended my career as a teacher with a deep love of travel and cultural immersion. My journey has taken me from classrooms on the busy streets of London to the red dust of outback Australia—and now to a whiteboard in the jungles of remote Indonesia. I’m passionate about helping travelers discover the same sense of wonder, connection, and adventure that has shaped my life.

I’m just as at home climbing an active volcano as I am sipping a freshly brewed coffee in a cozy café. In the days before smartphones, you’d find me endlessly poring over a well‑worn Lonely Planet guidebook. Now I’ve taken that same obsession with travel planning online. I love turning curiosity into clarity—making sure every trip I design is thoughtful, seamless, and full of the moments that make travel unforgettable.

7 Days in Sanur, Bali
Sanur, Bali is the perfect place to relax and indulge in style. Whether you want to spend the entire week in Sanur or use it as a base to explore further afield, Sanur allows you to experience a taste of Bali culture in a more laid-back manner, but still has plenty to see and do. Personally, I prefer Sanur over other parts of Bali as it feels a little less pretentious—think less ‘influencer’ vibe and more of a family-friendly, older crew scene. The paved walkway that runs for about two kilometers (1.25 miles) along the beachfront is a lovely place for a stroll early morning or into the evening. The only challenging part is deciding where you want to eat.
