My Story
Living as an expat in Amsterdam (and previously in Tokyo) has shaped the way I see the world — blending personal curiosity with a love for new experiences. I believe in savoring both the big, planned adventures and the smaller, unexpected moments. As I like to say... life is short, and so am I!
Travel Style
I believe that traveling should bring you happiness, and for me, that looks and feels different every time. Sometimes, I’ve sought adventure, such as sailing through the Greek Isles or hiking an active volcano off the coast of Africa. Other times, it was all about slowing down — unwinding on a secluded beach with a book or wine tasting on an island near Auckland. No matter the destination, my travels have always been shaped by curiosity and a desire to find something new and make it familiar. And while I love a detailed itinerary (probably more than the next person), I find embracing the unexpected can be the most rewarding of all. It brings me joy using my knowledge to curate a personalized experience for someone else, and allowing space for them to revel in delightfully unexpected moments of their own.

We really enjoyed working with Amanda. She found us the perfect hotel in a location close enough to easily walk into the city, but carefully chosen to be quiet and comfortable. She has a great ability to understand exactly what we want from a trip and is always highly communicative. We will absolutely book with Amanda again!
