Our Story
Perks&Rec is a NYC-based travel advisory built on the idea that good planning is what makes a great trip. Founded by Ed Santos, a project and program management professional, Perks&Rec exists to take the complexity out of travel so the people going on the trip can actually enjoy every part of it, including the lead-up. Ed has always been drawn to the details that other people skip: the right neighborhood, the hotel that actually fits the group, the itinerary that leaves room to breathe. After years of doing it informally for friends, family, and colleagues, he turned that instinct into something real. Perks&Rec is built for people who want a great trip without spending weeks figuring out how to pull it off.
Travel Style
Travel is personal, and the planning should feel that way. We’re detail people, which means finding the right hotels, building enough structure so everyone knows what to expect, and cutting through the noise so clients aren’t managing every moving part. Whether it’s a birthday trip, a wedding block, or a company offsite, the goal is the same: seamless, considered, and easy for everyone involved.

We have absolutely appreciated booking through Perks and Rec for ease as well as price monitoring. This room was one of the accommodations Edward was able to re-book for a lower price. Edward really helped us find this location in a perfect area to our needs along with a suitable price point. There are a lot of accommodations out there and Edward was able to filter these for us and match us to the best.

We are so appreciative of Ed and his assistance in booking this hotel for our trip. He was able to rebook a few times to get us a lower price on our stay—more $ to spend in Disney! His insight helped us pick a hotel suited to our needs in at the time as well as what we needed moving forward for our trip, such as luggage shipping and easy access to transit. We would absolutely use Perks & Rec again!
