Happy Birthday, Portal! Celebrating Our All-in-One Platform for Travel Advisors

How time flies! This month at Fora, we’re celebrating one year around the sun for Portal, our all-in-one platform for travel advisors.

It’s been quite the first year for Portal, which was launched a year ago as a one-stop-shop for Fora Advisors to track bookings and access resources. A year later, we’re proud to report that Portal is as popular as ever. And the platform continues to evolve as a game-changing tool to help advisors plan, book & manage trips.

On its first birthday, Portal offers so much more. It includes a dynamic supplier database, featuring preferred cruise, experience and hotel partners around the globe. Here, advisors can easily navigate agency perks offered at more than 4,500 hotels around the world, plus travel exclusives and bookings intel. They can also access our comprehensive library of travel resources, with more than 100 destination and supplier trainings. New advisors can sign up for guided onboarding with our in-house travel experts. All at their fingertips.

Portal also includes a robust client management system, where advisors can see a 360-degree view of traveler info, stay on top of trip logistics and track bookings. And thanks to the ultra-secure Vault, advisors can seamlessly source + store payment info (solving one of our biggest headaches). Plus, advisors can access real-time updates on commissions payments. And we’re constantly adding features. Our Next Big Thing is an integrated booking platform later this year. 

We’re all about building tools in collaboration with our advisors, and Portal is no exception. Since the early days of Portal, our advisors have been creating, iterating and testing this platform right along with us. They’re engaging with our tech team to provide feedback, help us workshop ideas and ultimately, create tooling that works best for them. In other words: Portal was created not only for but by our advisors. And they’re celebrating this milestone right along with us.
