A venture out into South Africa requires quite a bit of preparation and organization, as simply the trip there takes two to three days. Your first stopover is at Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where you will spend the night before flying to the camp by Tanda Tula and beginning your safari adventure. South Africa is out to surprise you with its rich biodiversity, incredible fauna and flora, welcoming people and design-forward spaces. In this itinerary, you will visit all the best that South Africa offers – ranging from safari to Cape Town, Victoria Falls and more.

Day 1-3 : Tanda Tula safari time
Tanda Tula, in the Timbavati, is a stunning eco-chic glamping set directly in the front row of South Africa’s safari. An evening safari will accompany your arrival. Each guest will have a window seat for optimal viewing opportunities. You will discover Africa’s Big Five – lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Giraffe and zebra sightings might be possible as well.
Day 4: Exploring Cape Town, South Africa
Once you’re done with safari exploring, head back to the city. Cape Town is one of the most beautiful and promising cities worldwide. Here you will be staying at Blackheath Lodge, with breakfast included. But don’t let that sway you from discovering the city’s many novel restaurants and cafes. Explore the town, visit Table Mountain and enjoy the city's beauty. I highly recommended dinner at La Colombe Silvermist - Silvermist Organic Wine Estate – currently ranked as one of the top 20 restaurants in the world.
Day 5: Franschhoek curated wine experience
Today is all about wine, and it starts with the Franschhoek Wine Tram. This is the best way to explore the Cape Winelands! Designed for true wine lovers and foodies, the Curated Wine Experience is a real treat for the senses! A knowledgeable wine guide accompanies the journey offering a selection of wine estates for premium tasting and pairings, a cellar and a vineyard tour. A special three course lunch is included.
Day 6: City escape with penguins
Exchange the city for the peninsula and meet the cutest stinkers in town: penguins. Boulders Penguin Colony is one of the most popular attractions in the region, allowing visitors to get up close to the animals. This region is also full of excellent beaches and glorious views that make for a perfect day trip. City Escape: Cape Town Peninsula tour does a wonderful job in guiding visitors in this region.
Day 7-9: Victoria Falls
Arrive at Victoria River Falls Lodge for your first game drive. Enjoy activities such as morning/afternoon safari or cruise to Victoria Falls. This beautiful region (and hotel) offers a welter of activities and things to see. So keep your eyes wide open and be ready to be amazed.
