Things to do in Bali

an ancient temple stretches along a cliff over the ocean on

Visit the many beautiful Temples in Bali:

  • Pura Tirta Empul (healing waters)

  • Uluwatu Temple (water temple)

  • Tanah Lot Temple

  • Besakih Temple ("mother temple")

Explore Ubud:

  • Take pictures with monkeys at Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary.

  • Get close with an elephant during their morning bath ritual or get a ride on an elephant through the Safari Park.

  • Stroll through the beautiful rice paddy fields at Tegalalang rice field.

Suluban Beach

  • Walk through a cave and go surfing

Seminyak

  • Shop and bar hop!

Note: Drinking Luwak Coffee is a popular tourist experience in Bali. I personally do not recommend this. Myself and others who have done this have experienced stomach issues soon after drinking Luwak coffee. If you know how it's made then it make sense why it would cause this.

Places to eat & drink in Bali

circular bar perched over the ocean on a flora covered coast

Rock Bar at Ayana Resort in Jimbaran (near Uluwatu) is perched up high above the waves and has mesmerizing views of the ocean and is a must for sunset views. The view are not the only thing they're known for. The quality of their menu is definitely something worth trying.

At Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak, you can go in your bathing suit and dip in the infinity pool or dress up and have a nice dinner and drinks. Either way you'll be close to the beach enjoying sunset views and lively music.
