Things to do in Puerto Rico

beach-puerto-rica-travel-guide

Beaches

Mar Chiquita - A beautiful half-moon shaped beach in Manati. Mar Chiquita is known to be a natural pool.

Luquillo Beach – Family-friendly fun with beach side shops and restaurants.

Culebrita – A spectacular, uninhabited island that has crystal clear water and is a boat ride away.

Flamenco Beach – A wonderful beach on the island of Culebra. Perfect place to spend hours sunbathing with family and friends.

To Do

Explore Old San Juan district. Wander the cobblestone streets, admire the Spanish colonial architecture and visit the Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

Day trip to El Yunque National Forest – Hike through the rainforest, go swimming in a waterfall, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. Book tickets in advance as there is a limit on daily visitors.

Mosquito Bay in Vieques and Laguna Grande in Fajardo are two bioluminescent bays. These bays are home to microscopic organisms that glow in the dark. You can kayak or paddleboard through the water and see the bioluminescence light up.

Day Trips

Culebra and Vieques are wonderful day trips that you can go on by boat. They have pristine beaches, wonderful restaurants and nice boutique hotels.

1919 - Located at the Condado Vanderbilt, Chef Juan José Cuevas brings together fine dining with local ingredients.

Grab drinks at The Gallery Inn in Old San Juan - This rustic hotel has a pool on the brick patio and is a unique experience all around.

Jose Enrique Puerto Rican Restaurant - One of the most celebrated chefs in Puerto Rico.

Go out for drinks and go dancing at La Factoria. This bar is on The Worlds 50 Best Bars List!

Check out Fifty-Eight at La Concha Resort for a fun night out. Many well-known DJs and artists perform here.
