Uffizi Gallery - Notable art museum focusing on the Italian Renaissance period and home to Botticelli’s Birth of Venus.

Ponte Vecchio - Medieval closed arch bridge over the Arno River, totally crowded with jewelry, art, and souvenir shops lining both sides.

Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore - One of the most iconic churches in the world, with the iconic dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi.

Galleria dell’Accademia & David of Michelangelo - Michelangelo’s masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture is housed in the Galleria dell’Accademia.

Palazzo Vecchio - A worthwhile visit, the town hall houses Roman ruins, a fortress and a labyrinth of Renaissance chambers.

The Boboli Gardens - Gorgeous formal Renaissance gardens, a bit outside of the city center.

Stop in at Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, which can trace its roots back to 1221, for perfumes and skincare.
