Day 1: Arrive in Charleston

Some house and a street in front of a beach.

Kick off the first day of what is sure to be an epic weekend with your girls, by checking into your hotel and heading to 167 Raw for lunch. This is one of the most popular seafood spots in Charleston, so if there’s a wait for your party (they don’t take reservations, but trust me the wait is worth it) hit up the incredible selection of nearby boutiques and luxury stores. I am personally a big fan of Love Shack Fancy, Hampden and the Shops at Charleston Place. After lunch and some shopping, venture over to Little Palm at the Ryder Hotel, to soak up some sun at my favorite pool bar with a retro vibe and some of the best cocktails in town. For dinner and drinks, head to Upper King, where the nightlife is a vibe of its own.

I recommend The Ordinary for oysters and incredible rum based drinks, Vintage Lounge for a luxe wine bar experience and The Commodore for live music and late night dance parties.

Day 2: Hit the Beach

I love to spend my weekends at Folly Beach which has a chill boho vibe of it’s own. Hit up local’s favorite Bert’s Market for beach snacks and supplies then relax on the beach while watching the surfers. Speaking of surfing, if you want to book some lessons with your girls I highly recommend the female run, Shaka Surf School. After the beach, hop around Center Street to explore the many quirky shops and fun bars of Folly. For the best cocktails at the beach and an epic shrimp roll, don’t miss Lowlife Bar.

For outdoor chill vibes and live music, head to Chico Feo for a fun laid back beach bar scene.

Day 3: Brunchin' It

White boats parked on a dock.

Brunch in Charleston is a celebration like no other. My favorites are The Darling for an insta-worthy Bloody Mary, Hall’s Chophouse for a true Southern experience for Gospel Brunch, or Park & Grove in the ever popular Wagener Terrace neighborhood. After brunch, I highly recommend getting out on the water to view the city from Charleston Harbour.

There are a number of charter boat services, such as Sandlapper Water Tours, that allow you to bring your own cooler of drinks and snacks. For your last night in town, I recommend checking out acclaimed wine bar, Graft, for their Good Neighbor Sunday. Each Sunday afternoon, this fun spot hosts a parking lot party filled with food trucks, local artisans and lots of natural wine.
