Overview of Day 1
Day 1: A Romantic Arrival in London
As you descend into London and exit the customs corridor, you will be warmly greeted by your private driver who will take you to The Kimpton Fitzroy, your home for the next three days. With its elegant décor and cozy atmosphere this hotel sets the perfect tone for your romantic getaway.
Upon arriving at the hotel, you will be welcomed with warm smiles and a glass of champagne. After settling into your room, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the hotel, go downstairs and enjoy a cocktail at the hotel bar, Fitz's. Indulge in some of the amenities, then explore the nearby area. Walk across the street and enjoy the passersby at Russell Square Park. There, you can delight in a pre-dinner dessert and coffee at Caffe Tropea
In the evening, head out for a romantic dinner at Claridge's restaurant in Mayfair (probably the best halibut I have every had) to celebrate your anniversary.
Overview of Day 2
Day 2: London Delights
The next morning, wake up to the sun streaming through the curtains, eager to explore the city. First, walk to Gail's bakery where you can politely stuff your face in freshly baked, perfectly moist cinnamon bun . With your cravings satisfied, wander through the charming streets of Marylebone until you reach Daunt Bookstore, a haven for both book lovers and non-book lovers alike as its historical charm and Edwardian chicness draws anyone with a pulse inside.
While exploring the city by foot (and maybe the Tube) check out London's usual suspects: Big Ben, House of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, and Covent Gardens. If you're not afraid of heights, you can also go on the London Eye!
In the evening, head to Southwark Playhouse for a captivating performance, and lose yourself in the magic of live theater. After the final curtain call, make your way to the Shard, where you can sip cocktails and eat dinner as you marvel at the breathtaking views of the city below.
Overview of Day 3
Day 3: A Taste of Luxury
Reserve your final day in London for some education, more indulgence, and a little quirkiness. Wake up in the morning and meet your guide at the Churchill War Rooms for a solely private tour before they open to the public. Then, saunter along the Thames to enjoy a private and romantic commuter yacht tour along the river while being served champagne (or any drink of your choice) and hors d'oeuvres.
If you have time, make your way to the Tate Modern before going to the Rosewood for high-tea to savor delicate sandwiches and pastries in the opulent surroundings of the hotel's iconic tea room. Happy and satiated, walk back to the hotel where you can partake in a tarot card reading for you and your partner (if you are into that - I know I am!) before getting ready for another romantic dinner.

Day 4: Welcome to Edinburgh
The next morning, bid farewell to London and board the train to Edinburgh. As you approach the city, bagpipers will welcome you as you disembark the train, welcoming you to your next adventure. You will then be taken to the iconic Balmoral Hotel, which stands tall against the backdrop of Edinburgh's skyline and is the epitome of cozy-chic.
Stepping into the hotel, you will be greeted by a charming doorman wearing a green semi-coat tail jacket and plaid pants, adding a touch of whimsy to your arrival. After checking into your Deluxe Castle View Room, make your way downstairs to the whisky-tasting salon to sample Scotland's finest spirits with a private teacher in a kilt.
While you let the whisky settle and warm you, walk on over to Baba, the best Middle Eastern cuisine in Scotland for dinner. Try the lamb and couscous. You will fall in love.
Overview of Day 5
Day 5: Exploring Edinburgh
Your first full day in Edinburgh should be spent exploring the historic city, from the cobbled streets of the Old Town to the grandeur of Edinburgh Castle. Wander through the Royal Mile, stop to admire the architecture, and browse the shops filled with tartan and trinkets. Tartan everywhere! Purchase a blanket or a scarf or earmuffs!
In the evening, dine at Le Petit Beefbar and enjoy its spectacular menu, particularly the baby quesadilla with braised short rib. Then, walk to the closest cozy pub and abandon yourself to a pint of ale. As you walk back to the hotel, tread along the cobblestone streets that remind you of the magic of Edinburgh.

Day 6: Tranquility at Gleneagles
Leaving Edinburgh behind, embark on the next leg of your journey to The Gleneagles Hotel, a luxurious retreat nestled in the Scottish countryside. As you arrive, you will be greeted by the sight of manicured gardens and rolling hills, a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Spend the day indulging in outdoor activities, from golfing on pristine courses to exploring the hotel's expansive grounds. In the evening, retreat to the spa for a soothing treatment, pampering massage or comforting facial.

Day 7: Highland Adventure
Your final day in Scotland will be filled with adventure as you embark on a journey to the edge of the Highlands. Arriving at The Glenturret Distillery, the oldest working distillery in Scotland, you will be treated to a private tour, learn about the art of whisky-making and sample a variety of spirits.
Return to The Gleneagles for a unique falconry experience, learning to handle and fly majestic birds of prey under the guidance of expert falconers. Take some time to relax and reflect on your unforgettable anniversary trip before heading back home, cherishing the memories you've created together.
